Description
Nous avons une excellente connaissance de l'histoire grecque, de la géographie grecque, de l'archéologie, de la culture et, bien sûr, de la cuisine et des coutumes locales. Nous visitons tous les sites où l'apôtre Paul était à Athènes et Corinthe, nous revenons à 2.000 en l'an 50 après J.-C. avec un chauffeur / Guide chrétien expérimenté avec une connaissance approfondie de la Bible sainte. À tout moment, vous décidez quand vous arrêtez. Vous pouvez prendre des photos, vous détendre le long de la plage et dîner, ou simplement vous détendre et siroter un verre. Ou peut-être préférez-vous faire du shopping ou aller dans un musée – vous décidez, vous choisissez. Nous voulons que la qualité de votre expérience de voyage dure toute une vie, afin que vos souvenirs de notre beau pays soient éternels. Itinéraire
Nous verrons un statut de Paul marchant vers Athènes tenant un scribe.
C'est dans la sensation de Mars que Paul est invité à monter et à parler aux philosophes épicuriens stoïques.
Nous nous arrêterons pendant 10-15 minutes et assisterons à la transformation des dieux devant le tombeau des soldats inconnus et verrons la trilogie des écoles.

C'est là que se trouvent le marché central d'Athènes ainsi que le gouvernement. Vous verrez également le temple d'Héphaïstos. Où saint Paul prêchait et rencontrait tous les personnages importants d'Athènes.
Notre premier arrêt serait le Canal.
Notre tournée continue et nous atteindrons bientôt l'ancienne ville de Corinthe (visite), où saint Paul a vécu et prêché pendant 18 mois. Voir le temple d'Apollon, le théâtre antique de Corinthe où vous verrez Erastus, son nom est gravé sur une pierre. Nous prendrons un déjeuner et vous déposerons à l'hôtel.
Le canal a été construit entre 1883 et terminé 1893, il est long de 6,7 kml, large de 27 mètres, profond de 16 mètres, et le pont sur lequel vous vous tiendrez est haut de 79 mètres, Au début, ils ont utilisé ce qu'ils ont appelé DIOLKOS datant de 2700 ans.
Un des deux ports de Corinthe, où Paul est venu dans sa deuxième mission du port du Pirée. Il a trouvé Priscila et Akila travaillant comme faiseurs de tendances pour les Jeux isthmiens. Il y reste 18 mois de 50 à 52 après J.-C. et il débarque de Cenhrée à Éphèse. Un des sites les plus importants pour les chrétiens. Vous pouvez également voir la première église chrétienne que Phoibi la diaconesse . Vous verrez le baptistère qu'ils ont utilisé pour baptiser les nouveaux chrétiens en secret.
Acrocorinthos : L'Acropole de Corinthe, construite au Ve siècle après J.-C. seuls cinq Empires ont réussi à dépasser le Château, ses 530 mètres de haut, et couvre toute la colline, également appelée Penteskoufi en raison des 5 collines autour. Sur elle se dressait le temple d'Aphrodite,

La célèbre Mosaïque de la Vision de Paul d'un artiste local Vlassis Tsotsonis et les célèbres fresques de Michael Angelo réalisées par Pino Mastourioti au Vatican récemment.

Comment rencontrons-nous notre chauffeur ? 1. Aéroport Après avoir récupéré vos bagages et passé la douane, si nécessaire, vous serez dirigé vers le salon public. Là, vous verrez de nombreuses personnes attendre les passagers, certains brandissant des pancartes avec des noms dessus. Votre chauffeur sera là avec une pancarte avec votre nom ou tout ce que vous avez choisi d'y figurer. Assurez-vous d'avoir mon numéro de téléphone avec vous et faites-moi savoir immédiatement si vous pensez que quelque chose ne va pas, par exemple une attente particulièrement longue pour vos bagages ou même des bagages manquants. Le chauffeur vous attendra jusqu'à 90 minutes après l'atterrissage de votre avion. Si, pour une raison quelconque, vous manquez votre vol ou si votre vol est annulé ou programmé avec un long retard, veuillez me contacter et me faire part des détails de votre nouveau vol. De cette façon, vous éviterez d’être facturé. 2. Terminaux de croisière Il existe deux terminaux différents pour les navires de croisière, le terminal A et le terminal B. Veuillez sortir par la porte où votre bateau de croisière a accosté. Vous rencontrerez notre chauffeur dans la zone publique juste devant la porte après le dédouanement (si nécessaire). Le chauffeur tiendra une pancarte avec votre nom dessus. Merci de prendre un soin particulier à vérifier auprès du chauffeur qu'il fait partie de notre groupe. Parfois, lorsqu'un nom de famille est courant, les visiteurs se mélangent et suivent un autre chauffeur ! Encore une fois, assurez-vous d'avoir mon numéro de téléphone avec vous et faites-moi savoir immédiatement si vous pensez que quelque chose ne va pas. 3. Hôtels Il est généralement beaucoup plus facile de venir vous chercher à un hôtel que partout ailleurs. Nous garons généralement la voiture devant l'hôtel et nous nous y retrouvons. La plupart du temps, les portiers nous connaissent et peuvent également vous orienter vers nous. Cependant, certains hôtels ne disposent pas de suffisamment de places de parking à leur entrée principale, et si le chauffeur ne vous trouve pas devant l'hôtel, il fera un petit cercle et reviendra. Cela ne prend que quelques minutes. Soyez assuré qu'il sera là pour vous. 4. Traversiers Au débarquement du ferry, il y a généralement une grande agitation. Les gens et les voitures débarquent en même temps. Pour des raisons de sécurité, les autorités portuaires ne permettent pas aux personnes en attente de s'approcher de très près. Votre chauffeur vous attendra avec une pancarte avec votre nom à l'endroit le plus proche possible. Veuillez jeter un œil autour de vous dès que vous descendez du ferry.

Constantine was amazing! Very knowledgeable of the area and showed us locations we never would have found on our own. His knowledge of the Apostle Paul made the experience all the more exciting, and his faith is inspiring!

My wife and I had an outstanding private Biblical tour of Athens and Corinth with Michael. I had let him know in advance that my wife has mobility issues and uses a rolling walker. Unknown to Michael, we were able to borrow a wheelchair for covering longer walks in addition to hving her usual rolling walker. We met him at the cruise terminal. Michael had had a hunch we needed more room and so came with his minibus that had lots of room for the wheelchair, walker and us instead of the usual SUV for 2 people. In addition, he brought along his 17-year-old grandson thinking he could help us with any mobility issues! Off we all went for a wonderful narrated tour of Athens and Corinth. His grandson, who spoke excellent English, was so personable and helpful. Whenever my wife needed to use the wheelchair to cover longer distances, he pushed her around in the wheelchair (saving my energy and allowing me to explore easier). This was especially helpful navigating the uneven pathways at the Corinth runins. He even climbed up some steep stone stairs to the top of Mars Hill to take pictures of the great city views of Athens with my camera! After touring Corinth with its excellent museum, which is on a mountain slope, Michael took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch (meal cost not included) near the mountaintop with great food and views of the surrounding mountains. Michael was very knowledgeable of Athens and Corinth and especially its Biblical history. He and his grandson were so friendly and helpful that it felt more like friends giving us the tour than a commercial tour. The sites we saw were highlights of our trip, but Michael’s thoughtfulness and kindness to bring a larger vehicle and his grandson to help went above and beyond and will never be forgotten! He deserves a 6 star recommendation!

Michael picked us up promptly at the scheduled time in a spacious Mercedes van. He was an excellent tour guide with lots of stories and explanations of the planned sites but also just interesting things along the way We were equally entertained and educated about Paul’s travels through Ancient Greece. We had a great time with a number of stops at ancient sites along Paul’s route. Also Michael took great care of us along the way with several stops for restroom visits and to grab some refreshments. Finally he topped it all off by taking us to a great mountain top restaurant next to Acrocorinth castle and overlooking Corinth and the bay. We had a great time and well with the price.

Our day with Michael was a fantastic experience for our first trip to Athens. We were excited to see “Footsteps of Paul” offered with the trip to Corinth. Michael is passionate about his country and his beliefs. He can quote the verses pertaining to Paul and relate them exactly to what we were seeing, and where we were walking. His knowledge of Greek history, geography and archeology is vast and he was very patient to answer all our questions. He tailored our day to exactly what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go. At each location he told us what to look for that we might otherwise never see. We never felt rushed and were free to spend as long as we wanted at each point of interest. My favorite was standing at the Bema in Ancient Corinth, to be exactly where Paul was. Very moving. This was a fantastic day and I only wish I could think of more questions to bug Michael with! Highly recommend.

We used Athens Taxi Tours multiple times during our trip. From airport pick up, to a full day tour of Corinth, Nafplio, etc., a tour of the temple of Poseidon.......and finally also for airport drop off.
