Meknès Volubilis et Moulay Idriss excursion d'une journée au départ de Fès, vous mènera à la découverte de Meknès, l'une des villes impériales du Maroc, et la ville sainte de Moulay Idriss. Cette visite permettra également de profiter des spectaculaires mosaïques aux ruines romaines de Volubilis, et de se tenir devant la plus belle porte impériale du Maroc; Bab Mansour.

Notre chauffeur viendra vous chercher à votre hôtel à 09h00. Votre premier arrêt sera la ville romaine en ruine de Volubilis. Les archéologues français ont commencé les fouilles de Volubilis au début du XXe siècle, mais il reste encore la moitié de l’immense panorama sous des siècles de terres arables. Émerveillez-vous devant les sites célèbres, tels que la basilique, l'arc de triomphe et les nombreux palais aux mosaïques exquises. La visite de Volubilis peut se faire avec ou sans guide local.

Ahmed is a great person, who makes you feel good at all times. He speaks very fluent Spanish (among other languages), cares about you, is punctual, very friendly and has great knowledge of history, teaches you places that do not appear in the guides which we would not have known without him. We highly recommend your tours, as without it our trip would not have been as enriching as it has been. Excellent driver, very careful and very pleasant. Comfortable and spacious vehicle. We had an excellent day, magnificent visits with Mohammed who was very attentive. We were with four young children, which is not easy to manage but everything went perfectly. In short, 5 stars!

Ahmed gave us a tour from Fez to Meknes and it was just what we needed! Ahmed is a wonderful driver and made sure that we had a day full of seeing the sights. He listened well to our needs and the needs of our children. It was a great day and one we will always remember from our trip to Morocco!

Magnificent excursion. I recommend Mohamed Dakdari, good knowledge of history, kind, punctual and responsible. We were with him every day and it is a relief. Volubilis, what else can I say? World Heritage.

Mohamed is a prudent and skilled driver, and punctual. In addition, he stopped at places with panoramic views, explaining details of the places we visited, giving recommendations for the visit, and allowing the time we needed for each visit. He also has a very good humor and is friendly, the trip with him has been very pleasant. We recommend him without a doubt: traveling with him we felt that we were in good hands. Right now most of the imperial monuments in Meknes are closed for renovation work. But you can visit the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum (even non-Muslims, unlike most religious buildings in Morocco), and it is impressive.

I met Mohamed in Fes when my wife, our children and I were walking back into the Medina towards the Blue Gate. He was very friendly and polite and offered to take us on a day tour to Volubilis and Meknes and I took his business card. The following day I bumped into him on top of the hill by the ruins overlooking ancient Fes and I informed him we were interested in the day out he had proposed. As agreed we met at the arranged time at The Blue Gate and we spent an incredibly fascinating day in his Mitsubishi 4wd heading to Volubilis. The drive itself was lengthy and through interesting scenery, Mohamed was a great driver and we felt safe with him. At Volubilis we were left to our own device and were given the option of touring the fascinating ruins or hiring a guide, we chose the latter and the guide was informative and great fun. We then continued to Meknes via Idris and once again the drive was marvelous. At Meknes we were driven around the interesting sites and then again left to explore the city by ourselves having agreed on a time to return to the 4wd. Meknes was beautiful and great fun to explore on foot. The drive back to Fes was great fun. Throughout the day, Mohamed was very informative providing interesting historical details and facts of the areas we visited as well as information of the local culture. Mohamed's level of English was very good and my family and I enjoyed his company and I would highly recommend Mohamed to anyone planning an excursion.
