The sunrise balloon flight with Royal Balloon was fantastic. The highly experienced pilot navigated the balloon through various valleys and provided good explanations about the surroundings. Hot air ballooning in Göreme is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. When booking, one should not focus too much on the price but rather choose the best company, namely Royal Balloon. It is definitely worth spending the 30 euros for the wonderful pictures and videos, which are then sent via a download link to the provided email address, if the customer wishes. Many thanks to Royal Balloon and the two outstanding pilots, Tugrul Güclü and Cagan, for the unforgettable ride. The operator for some reason reached out less than 24 hours before the trip to get additional information. This was at 2pm. They said I had until 4:15pm to answer or they would mark me as a no-show for the trip happening the next day. I was unfortunately on a plane and did not answer their message until 6pm the day before the trip. They never replied and I'm now trying to get my money back as I had to go with another company. It also threw off my schedule as I had other tours planned the following mornings.

Disaster. Real cheats. We booked for 23rd sept. We were told over WhatsApp on 22nd sept that the balloon rides for the following day were all cancelled due to weather. When we clarified with the hotel, they confirmed that rides were indeed NOT cancelled for that day. The tour company remained UNCONTACTABLE when we tried to call them. Absolute disappointment. I suspect they overbooked. They also refused to find us a spot for any other day. DO NOT BOOK.

Our Soganli trip was cancelled due to low volume of people, but were offered the Cappadocia trip as a substitute. But WOW - it couldn’t have been better.!! We were picked up on time, arrived to the launch site within 10minutes, offered tea/coffee and given a breakfast package. The flight itself was unreal.!!!!!! It literally is breathtaking & cannot express in words the beauty of this experience. Thank you so much for making our trip a bucket list dream.!!!
