We did not realize we booked a private tour with Henry. Henry was lovely and knowledgeable. We had a walking tour through city of Westminster. Only issue is we thought the tour included so tour of Westminster Abbey. It did not. We had to book that ourselves in a different day.
Very interesting and informative. Our guide Arie was excellent and the war rooms were great. We saw several other spots and learned about the royal family and their homes. We saw Camila and Kate go by in a car!! A great tour and great guide.
The tour was very good EXCEPT timing was awful. We were told that we would tour and be delivered to the war rooms in time for entrance. Instead we were dropped off OVER and hour BEFORE our scheduled tour!!! Why did we have to begin at 11:00 if entrance wasn’t till 2:30?!?!?! My husband who is 85 was not in a position to sit on a stoop for an hour waiting to get in. We had to leave and never go into the war rooms which was the whole purpose for the trip! I think we should be refunded at least the price of the tickets!
Very Disappointed as the War Room would not honor the Viator bar code. WE NEVER GOT IN CHURCHILL WAR ROOM. They looked at every trip advisor email you sent me. They downloaded all you sent. No Q codes they wanted. They said you can’t come in unless you pay us directly. We went home frustrated. Full refund please
Misleading, Overpriced, and Shamelessly Unprofessional — Avoid Top Sights Tour Group at All Costs The alluring itinerary clearly included paid entry to Buckingham Palace, (see attached photo of detailed itinerary) a 20-minute stop at Westminster Abbey, and a private tour of the Churchill War Rooms. We received none of that. No Palace tickets, no access to the Abbey (not even a heads-up that entry required a separate ticket), and absolutely no guide for the War Rooms — just an audio device and a polite wave goodbye. Our guide Sandra (a kind and aspiring actress) was horrified when we told her we paid $350 for the tour and showed her the printed itinerary. She confirmed we would NOT follow the printed copy of the detailed itinerary and attempted to contact the company — who never returned her call. She left us after 3 hours, though we were sold a 5-hour tour. And yes, we tipped her, because none of this was her fault. As for the 3-hour walking tour, we were most fortunate to luck upon a parade rehearsal for the King Charles Birthday celebration, spending about 45 minutes watching the various horsemen, carriages, marching bands, etc. Had we not happened upon this, the 3-hour walking tour would have been less than 2 ½ hours. Despite Sandra sending photos of the itinerary and offering evidence that we were sold one experience and delivered another, the company refused any refund — not even a token amount. acknowledgment of the deception. Their response was to cite “approximate timings” and dismissing any requirement for a private tour of the Churchill War Rooms. In summary, we paid $350 for a three-hour walk, no Palace, no Abbey interior, and an impersonal museum visit we could’ve done better (and cheaper) ourselves. Our guide agreed we’d been misled. But the company doesn’t care. We were promised London’s finest — and ended up with a glorified brochure-walk. Book elsewhere and save your money.
Our guide, Dan, was a wealth of knowledge about the kings & queen’s of Great Britain. The walk through Westminster was leisurely paced with great information about the architecture and personalities of the original owners of the houses and palaces. We saw Buckingham Palace and Big Ben and Parliament. The tour ended at Churchill’s war museum which was fascinating.
Best time spent walking around Westminster area with Charlotte Harwood as our private guide. She is an exceptionally knowledgeable historian who taught us so much about the parks, the buildings, history, traditions & the monarchy. The best part about having Charlotte as our guide was that she was friendly, kind and engaging. We really felt like we were hanging out with a friend all day. This was the best way to learn about the heart of London on our first full day of our trip. She gave excellent recommendations about what else to do during our stay. We highly recommend booking this tour. Thank you!!
Excellent tour with lovely guide. Guided through many sights we’d not have found on our own. Was treated to a drive by from the King as a bonus.
The tour was absolutely amazing! Out fantastic, knowledgeable and kind tour guide, Greg, absolutely made our day. I would recommend this tour and Greg to anyone and everyone who comes to London. We saw so much in one day! Thank you for a fantastic day, Greg!
Amanda was amazing and extremely knowledgeable about everything! We really enjoyed our time together.
