I highly recommend Perth Tiny Tour especially if you have just few days in Perth and would like to explore Perth more than just the city. I did the wildflower tour and I had a great time. Western Australia wildflowers in spring is one of a kind in the world and Peter, the tour guide, would know exactly how to find them. He would enthusiastically give you information about the flowers that you see (also insist that you take good photos of them..haha) and show you some other unique plants in the area. Along the way of wildflower hunting, you could enjoy some breathtaking view of Perth from Perth Hills area, get to see quaint little towns about 1.5 hour outside Perth and all year round Christmas shop was the added bonus. Peter is a great tour guide and I had plenty of great conversation with him which made the tour even more enjoyable. This is one tour that worth spending bit more because it would be so worth it.
Thankyou so much. It was a Pleasure.
Absolutely superb day - Peter took us to see wildflowers in their natural setting - such care and preparation made for a wonderful day. Despite 'going bush' and off the track I felt perfectly safe with my walker because Peter ensured I was stable and helped me over surfaces which were not sealed. The places we visited were great fun and we would never have found them by ourselves. Peter has a great sense of humour - we laughed all day. His knowledge and commentary was exemplary - really interesting and made the day just perfect. He was prepared for everything. Highly recommended!
Thankyou Suzie & Caro! What an epic trip that was! Loads of fun & great chat over 3 days. Thank you so much for booking me - it really was a delight to show you around my little corner of the world. Peter
I cannot recommend Peter and his Tiny Tours enough! My mum and I enjoyed a three day tour discovering the most incredible wild flowers in and around Perth, and into the West Australian countryside. Peter had planned everything so well, yet he was flexible and continually checked to see that we were happy. He is a very safe driver, making our journeys comfortable and relaxed. Peter tells some great stories but equally enjoyed listening to ours; he and Mum learnt a lot from each other about native plants. His passion for showing people the best of WA shines through. We have returned home with enough photos and stories to fill volumes, having had a time of awe and wonder.
Thanks so much for this very kind review Jacqui. It really was a pleasure taking you both through a range of sites & flowers. Very much appreciated & enjoyed. Peter
The 3 day wildflower tour with Perth Tiny Tours was a truly delightful and wonderful way to explore this part of the country. Peter is an excellent, safe and professional driver who was a pleasure to travel with. His wildflower knowledge was very good and he knew exactly where to find the best flowers. An added bonus was visiting some gorgeous churches and enjoying their fascinating history. Peter was engaging, funny, flexible and kind, making sure I got to and from dinner safely each night. He was attentive and forward thinking. His knowledge of this beautiful corner of WA is astounding and his love and passion shines through. I have no hesitation recommending this tour. Thankyou Peter, I'll be back.
Thanks Leanne it was a pleasure to show you around some of the most beautiful country in the state at this time of year. Spring really turned it on this year & Im glad you got to see a lot of it. Peter
Feel so fortunate to have found Peter and his Perths Tiny Tours, my 91yr old mum and her friend in her 80's were so well looked after and from the moment of my first interaction with Peter I felt they would be in good hands. He was relaxed in a way that gave me confidence they were in good hands and would have the best possible experience - which they did. Be it a slightly later pick-up to accommodate their needs, checking the day prior as to any aids they may need to bring, to ensuring they captured moments and wildflowers even when they felt less able to do so, Peter ensured they had photographs wildflowers they saw from the car too. I highly recommend Peter's services, mum is coming home with some amazing memories and such a treat for someone who has been an avid Gardner all her life - thank you Peter for making the difference.
Thanks Erin for your lovely review. We had a great day despite initial worry about rain, it was beautiful.
Peter was an excellent and patient guide. I only expected a wildflower tour of the areas around Perth, but he also gave me a tour of the city, pointing out sites of interest tacked on with bits of history. We traveled backroads that led to flower sightings that only a knowledgeable local would know where to investigate. Although Peter said that the wildflower season had peaked three weeks ago, I still came away satisfied with what he showed me. I can only imagine how much more wonderful the wildflower displays would look like had I come a month earlier! Any trip you contemplate to Perth must include a tour with Peter.
Twice towards the end of the last month, my wife and I (both in our mid-70s) had the good fortune to sample deep expertise, fantastic place-finding skills and radiant company of our driver-cum-cicerone-cum nearly a friend, Peter Cope, a local West Aussie, the founder of remarkable PERTHS TINY TOURS. We found him to be a great and most graceful aficionado of WA's spring flora (25 Sep 2023, Country Wild Flowers Road Trip) and, on the 27th Sep, of the Indian Ocean's windy beaches and sun desiccated Pinnacles Desert. The first tour took 2hrs of driving some 200 kms east of Perth, towards Corrigin in the WA's Wheat Belt. The second one took 2hrs of driving some 200 kms north of Perth, along a picturesque coastal road, towards culinary (think lobsters!, think prawns!) haven (heaven?) of Cervantes and the nearby stunning Nambung National Park (think Obelix! think Asterix! think thousands of their mysterious upright megaliths!). We were blessed travellers indeed. Peter is a perfect, relaxed and skilled driver; a dependable, resourceful and cheerful companion as well as solidly informed and endlessly intriguing, thoughtful guide. We would dearly love to visit Perth again and go with Peter for more of his day-long happy, fascinating and sunny drives across stunning WA countryside. Our two experiences were addictive - Matthew & Irena, Melbourne, VIC.
Matthew & Irena thankyou so much - they were truly 2 magical & fun days - it was a pleasure. Peter
We had a fabulous day with Peter. He was generous with his time and knew the best spots to see an abundance of different varieties. I'd highly recommend Peter for his knowledge, willingness to provide options, and professionalism. Great tour, thanks Peter!!
After wanting to see the wildflowers for many years, I was fortunate enough to spend 2 days with Peter going to different regions. His vast knowledge of the area meant we found some incredibly beautiful and diverse flowers that blew me away. Peter was extremely organised, really friendly and easy to get along with. He went out of his way to customise the tours specifically for me and to ensure I had the best possible experience. I was astounded by his knowledge of the history of Perth and surrounds and thoroughly enjoyed his stories. Thanks so much Peter for making my experience so enjoyable and memorable. I would definitely recommend Peter’s Tiny Tours to anyone wanting an awesome, customised tour.
We spent 4 days with Peter Rambling through natural bushland finding beautiful wild flowers enhanced by Peters extensive knowledge of all species. On the way to Margaret River to sample “world class” wines,we passed through cute and interesting towns about which Pete knew all the focal points. Off to the phenomenon of “Wave Rock” which we enjoyed climbing over and had the obligatory “ surfing photo opp” Pinnacle Day via New Norsica, (such an interesting and amazing history of that area.) Whilst at the Pinnacles we were caught in a sudden torrential wind/rain storm, which was exhilarating and beyond Pete’s control, but such fun. We found his passion and love of Perth and surrounds contagious. His driving was careful and courteous. He went out of his way to ensure that each day was filled with laughter and joy. A holiday we will treasure always, and would highly recommend
Thanks for an equally memorable 4 days with such wonderful people. Missing the laughs already :)
