Nous visiterons le Musée de l'Ambre, un excellent exemple de l'architecture victorienne qui abrite une collection unique d'échantillons précieux d'ambre dominicain. Les experts disent que cet ambre, connu pour être le plus transparent au monde, est qualifié de semi-précieux. Formé à partir de la sève d’arbres qui a durci au fil des millions d’années, capturant de nombreux fossiles de plantes et d’insectes. Nous aurons également un arrêt à l'usine Rom, à la fabrique de cigares, à la rue Sombrella, à la rue Rosada ou au Paseo de Doña Blanca, à la rue Chichigua, au shopping, à Surbenir, au centre historique, à la forteresse de San Felipe, à la vue panoramique, à la cathédrale, au restaurant et à la plage. vous montrera également les quartiers résidentiels de la belle maison avec vue panoramique et la plage et si vous souhaitez aller au restaurant pour manger automatiquement de la nourriture dominicaine ou étrangère, nous le prendrons également

C'est un excellent choix pour les visiteurs novices à Puerto Plata. Échangez des bus touristiques bruyants et bondés pour une expérience de visite privée. Voyagez entre des sites dispersés dans un véhicule privé climatisé et découvrez l'histoire et la culture de Puerto Plata. Les points forts du voyage incluent une visite d'une fabrique de rhum, une vue sur l'océan à la forteresse de San Felipe, une chocolaterie et un trajet en téléphérique vers la montagne Isabel de Torres.

Ils feront une visite à l'intérieur de l'usine, ils vous montreront comment ils roulent le cigare et tous les différents types de tabac s'ils fument, ils auront un cigare gratuit de bonne qualité inclus pour une partie de nos visites et s'ils veulent acheter des cigares, ils aussi le vendre à l'usine

Pretty impressive tour. Was only my wife and I with Melanie our driver/tour guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and several times asked what else we would like to see. It seemed like she knew everyone in town as we walked around town center. Great tour and great guide! It was only the 3 of us so a very personal tour

We booked a private tour and it was one of the best tours that we have ever been on! Rigo and Jose made sure that we saw every sight and we felt like celebrities touring the different places with them. I have a mobility cart (lightweight/compact) and they were attentive to how we could get to each place and loaded unloaded when needed. This was a fabulous tour and much less than what the cruise line offered but was private with only my wife and I. Highly recommend!

Rigo was great. His van was new and clean. It had great air conditioning and WiFi. He knew the city and had so many unique facts. It was a great excursion we stopped and took photos when we wanted and the planned stops were great. I would highly recommend Rigo and would definitely use him again should I be in the Dominican Republic again

Rigo and his son were such wonderful tour guides. Communication was clear and we weee picked up at the promptly at the port in a pristine van stocked with cold water and Gatorade. There were 8 of us and he tailored the tour to exactly what we wanted to do. I recommend him for all your DR travel needs. So much nicer than a cruise tour. It was a private leisurely tour.

We arranged a city tour of Puerto Plata from the Amber Cove Cruise Terminal with Carlos Pena (email: carlospena_60@hotmail.com or mobile number: 829-520-9940). Carlos met us at the taxi pick up area and took us to see Puerto Plata sights. We told him we wanted tropical fruits and fresh coconuts and Carlos took us to a fruit stand for coconut drinks, mangoes, and other tropical fruits. If you're cruising to Puerto Plata, don't hesitate to contact Carlos as his rates are a fraction of what the cruise lines charges for city tour. Carlos was able to accommodate our group of 7 comfortably.

We booked the Puerto Plata City tour and had Alfredo as our guide. Alfredo took us on a fantastic tour. He was warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. He gave us just the right mix of history, local information and could really sing. Our tour took us to Macorix rum, Del Oro chocolate, and another chocolate store, all of which had generous and very tasty samples. We saw pink street, umbrella street, the fortress, and the church. This tour and Alfredo really gave us a little of everything!! We got to have pictures with a little monkey and Macaw, fresh coconut water from the vendor by Central Park, empanadas, dancing at the rum factory, shopping and more!! My family and I highly recommend this tour and Alfredo. Alfredo can also take great pictures!!

Very friendly tour guide who was also great at sharing information on the history and culture of the town. Also what was amazing was that we had the choice on what we did and it wasn’t a fixed plan that couldn’t be adapted to what we wanted
