Option 2 - Place royale, pagode d'argent, Wat Phnom, musée national, monument indépendant, Explorez Phnom Penh lors d'une visite d'une demi-journée de la capitale animée. Admirez les majestueuses colonnes du palais royal connu comme le résident du roi du Cambodge et de la pagode d'argent pour voir les beaux temples.Ensuite, nous continuons vers le musée national où construit en 1917 et placé plus de 5000 artifices. Après cela, passez au Wat Phnom où se trouve la fondation de Phnom Penh. Enfin, faites du lèche-vitrines au marché local et découvrez le monument indépendant le long du marché.

Le Monument de l'Indépendance à Phnom Penh, capitale du Cambodge, a été construit en 1958 pour commémorer l'indépendance du Cambodge vis-à-vis de la France en 1953. Il se trouve à l'intersection des boulevards Norodom et Sihanouk, au centre de la ville.
Le palais royal, à Phnom Penh, au Cambodge, est un complexe de bâtiments qui sert de résidence royale au roi du Cambodge. Son nom complet en langue khmère est Preah Barum Reachea Veang Chaktomuk Serei Mongkol.
Wat Phnom est un temple bouddhiste situé à Phnom Penh, au Cambodge. Il a été construit en 1372 et se trouve à 27 mètres du sol. C'est la plus haute structure religieuse de la ville. La pagode a reçu le nom de Wat Preah Chedey Borapaut. Wat Phnom est le point central de Phnom Penh.
La pagode d'argent est située sur le côté sud du palais royal, à Phnom Penh. Le nom officiel est Wat Ubaosoth Ratanaram, connu sous le nom de Wat Preah Keo Morakot, qui est généralement abrégé en Wat Preah Keo en khmer. Le vihara abrite de nombreux trésors nationaux, notamment de nombreuses statues de Bouddha en or et pierres précieuses.
Le marché central est un grand marché construit en 1937 sous la forme d'un dôme à quatre bras se ramifiant dans de vastes couloirs avec d'innombrables étals de marchandises. Initial conçu par Jean Desbois. Les travaux de construction ont été supervisés par l'architecte français Louis Chauchon et l'ingénieur Wladimir Kandaouroff.
Les Killing Fields sont un certain nombre de sites au Cambodge où collectivement plus d'un million de personnes ont été tuées et enterrées par le régime khmer rouge pendant son règne sur le pays de 1975 à 1979, immédiatement après la fin de la guerre civile cambodgienne.
Le musée du génocide de Tuol Sleng est un musée à Phnom Penh, la capitale du Cambodge, retraçant le génocide cambodgien. Le site est une ancienne école secondaire qui a été utilisée comme prison de sécurité 21 par le régime khmer rouge de son arrivée au pouvoir en 1975 jusqu'à sa chute en 1979.

I had a great time on the Half-Day Phnom Penh City Tour and would absolutely recommend it. My tour guide, Kakada, was fantastic. His English was excellent, he had a great sense of humor, and he was genuinely friendly and easy to talk to. He made the tour both informative and enjoyable, and did a great job explaining Cambodia’s culture as well as its complicated and emotional history. The driver was also great, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The only constructive feedback I’d share is about the tour information itself, and this isn’t a reflection on my guide at all. It wasn’t totally clear in the description that you’re supposed to choose between a cultural-themed tour or a genocide-themed tour, since the itinerary seems to list all sites together but in other places it says you need to choose between the two option. That said, Kakada was very flexible and let me choose a mix of both, and I was able to pick four attractions, which worked out perfectly. There was also a small pickup confusion. The Viator listing said there were only two pickup points, so I took a Grab to one of the hotels, but later found out hotel pickup and drop-off was actually possible. Again, not a big deal, and more of a clarity issue on the tour company’s side than anything else. Overall, this was a really informative and enjoyable tour. Kakada and the driver did an excellent job showing me Phnom Penh, its culture, and its history. Highly recommended!
