Dabbawala (transporteurs de boîte à lunch) Après le ramassage commence à la gare de Churchgate et observez le transfert de Dabbawallas dabbas dans le chariot en bois dans le train. C'est un circuit idéal pour en apprendre davantage sur l'histoire et la culture de Mumbai et pour vous présenter à la merveilleuse ville. Dhobi Ghat, où un blanchisseur traditionnel va collecter votre linge sale, le laver et le ramener soigneusement pressé devant votre porte. Après des visites de la ville, nous nous rendons au Dharavi pour visites de taudis
Tours de bidonvilles Préparez-vous pour au moins une heure et demie de marche dans les bidonvilles de Dharavi. Dans cette visite, vous verrez pourquoi Dharavi est le cœur des petites industries de Mumbai (le chiffre d’affaires annuel est d’environ 665 millions de dollars). Nous vous montrons un large éventail de ces activités: recyclage, confection de pots en argile, broderie, boulangerie, savonnerie, tannage du cuir, fabrication de papad (poppadom) et bien d’autres, la plupart ayant lieu dans des espaces très restreints. passez par les zones résidentielles, où vous aurez une idée réelle de la façon dont les gens vivent et du sens de la communauté et de l’esprit qui règne dans la région. Des personnes de toute l'Inde et de toutes les religions vivent à Dharavi et vous verrez cette diversité - par exemple, il y a des temples hindous, des mosquées et des églises. C’est tout une aventure de passer par les ruelles étroites et vous allez certainement perdre votre sens de direction!

Guide was half an hour late, then he had no car, tried to get one for more than an hour…as a result we just took a taxi without a/c, gave almost zero information, only asked for tips and rating. Extremely low quality tour and service. Better avoid.

Good guide around old town and general info of area. Food stops with walking tour in between each giving an overall tour of history and general knowledge. Highly recommended

Mr. Nisar took me many historical beautiful places in Mumbai. Although Elephanta cave was closed, he showed me his efforts and took me to local places, it was good experience for me!
