My friends and I had an amazing time at JunglePro with Freddy! He was so knowledgeable and taught us a bunch, and also showed us so many amazing animals and bugs including a jaguar. The accommodations were super nice and clean, the water was always hot, and the food was so bomb we always got seconds. Would def recommend!
The experience exceeded our expectations. It was Victor, our guide, who enhanced our jungle experience with his knowledge and enthusiasm. We saw more animals than we thought we’d see, including a Jaguar—so special! I would surely recommend this same exposure to anyone considering a Peru visit.
I absolutely loved the JunglePro 3-night jungle tour. Joel was our guide for the entire trip, and he was one of the highlights of my time in Peru. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the rainforest, always professional, and made every excursion interesting and fun. We saw an amazing variety of wildlife, including tarantulas, macaws, and toucans, often much closer than I expected. The canopy tower was another standout and it offers an incredible view over the jungle and is worth climbing for sunrise. I also appreciated the lodge’s commitment to conservation and sustainability. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and blended well with the surrounding environment. The food was consistently delicious, and everything was very well organized from start to finish. I will definitely recommend JunglePro to anybody not just visiting Tambopata or Puerto Maldonado, but Peru!
We had a great time in JunglePro 3 nights experience . Freddy was an excellent guide. Right from airport pickup, to different experiences, to food, everything was taken care of well. Freddy shared a lot of local knowledge about the jungle. We clicked 1000s of pics :)
Absolutely brilliant jungle experience with Jungle Pro. Javier, our guide was excellent and could spot wildlife with a true expert eye. We felt very safe, even me and I don't generally like boats, but Jungle Pro's are top quality with expert and experienced pilots. The lodge was comfortable with hot showers and good mosquito nets. Lots of early starts but worth it. Great flexibility to get us to the airport on time when our flight was pulled forward. Great value for money!
We had a great experience with JunglePro! Our guide Jhon was excellent. He provided great information, was always sure to point out interesting things to see, and made us feel safe and well-supported. The way he can find interesting creatures in the trees, in the forest, and in the dark is incredible. Unfortunately, we had a few very challenging/unreasonable guests in our group, and I was very impressed by Jhon’s patience and professionalism. The experience itself was great and included a good variety of activities and opportunities to see diverse wildlife. We saw Macaws, Parrots, Toucans, Capybara, Tarantulas, Giant River Otters, Cayman, Scorpions, Frogs, Monkeys, and more. Even looking for anaconda, though unsuccessfully, was an adventure in of itself! The accommodations were good. We didn’t have hot water in our hut, but it seemed everyone else we spoke to did, so likely a one-off issue. The food was also very good. Overall, a great experience and highly recommend.
We spent three unforgettable days in the jungle and had an absolutely amazing experience. From exciting speedboat rides and jungle walks to watching a macaw clay lick and even spotting giant otters, every day brought something new and special. A huge thank you to our guide Victor, who made the trip truly exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife, plants, and the national park, and always happy to share his passion for the rainforest with us. At the same time, he was genuinely interested in learning more about our home country and sharing stories about life in Peru, which made the experience feel very personal and authentic. One of the highlights was having Victor exclusively for us on the last day, which allowed us to adjust the program flexibly and enjoy activities like the canopy tower, a night expedition, and another jungle walk at our own pace. Overall, it was an incredible experience that we will remember for a long time. Highly recommended for everyone who wants to experience the beauty and wildlife of the Peruvian rainforest up close.
A very well-planned complex; I stayed in cabin 15 the first night and the rest of the days in cabin 6. It has all the comforts one could ask for, and the entire team was very responsible and concerned about our well-being. I have diabetes, and they prepared a pitcher of natural fruit juice without sugar for me at every meal, as well as the desserts. The least positive note was the guide; we were a group of 8, and the only one who did not speak English was me. I asked him up to 3 times to explain to me in Spanish, and from then on, I gave up.
We joined 3 nights 4 days experience with JunglePro in the mid April while staying at Finca. Days were packed with activities and visits, and went very fast. You may feel spend a lot of time on the boat, but it’s totally worth it. We were busy taking photos on the Tambopata river. Our local guide was John-Eric who was very entertaining and knowledgeable on the jungle. Answered any kinds of questions we had; about the plants, animals, history, gold mining, local industry, community etc. His magic eyes could spot monkeys hight in the trees in the jungle, and find the trace of mammals on muddy trails. Good boots suitable for the muddy-trail walk would be provided, but my husband kept his own as his size was all taken. Accommodation was clean with a plenty of hot water, surrounded by the beautiful landscape. Meals were very good. We never had a stomach upset. As there was no glass windows, you could hear the neighbours a bit, but the pleasant noisy sounds were, in fact, birds in the morning, and we slept with ear plugs. At the end of this 3-night program, we went to their exclusive 360 degree tower. Incredible view of the cloud-forest with white-throated Toucans and colourful Macaws. If you are a birdwatcher, bring a binocular and bird-ID app!
Highly recommend Jungle Pro! I spent a lot of time researching different agencies and this was definitely the right choice. The food, the lodge, and the daily activities were all amazing and well-organized. Our guide, Freddy, made the trip truly special. Since he grew up in the jungle, his knowledge and instincts are second to none. He was patient, supportive, and very funny. Getting to see the Amazon through his eyes was an eye-opening experience that went beyond a typical "tourist" outing. The rest of the staff was also wonderful and professional. If you’re heading to the rainforest, book with Jungle Pro!
