We had very short stay in Paris, and this visit was like a 'chance' for me and my son to attend the Louvre. Price was quite high, but we didn't spend time in the terrible queue and had fast access to the museum. Many thanks to our amazing Guide Valeria: we could oversee the most famous artworks in the Louvre (means, come close and take the pictures. It was important because of huge number of visitors inside) and discover many interesting historical facts.

Our tour guide was very nice, had a lot of good information about the Louvre. Was knowledgeable about what we saw and helpful when we asked questions. My only disappointment was with Mona Lisa. Given the massive amount of people, she only allowed us 10 minutes to get in and see everything in the room other than Mona Lisa. That wasn’t enough time. 20 minutes would have been ideal.

A perfect first visit to the Louvre. If you only have a couple of hours, don’t miss this tour. It is a wonderful introduction to the history of the Louvre, and offers a fascinating description of painting techniques especially as they relate to the Mona Lisa. We learned a lot. You can spend days wondering the Louvre. This was a way to see the highlights and learn about the Louvre, its long history, and recent events.
