Worth every penny. José was awesome. More than a tour guide - a passionate expert and new friend who knew exactly how to bring our group together and provide the best view of Gaudi and his successors’ work, as well as the context of the Sagrada Família today. He knew the answers to even the most specific of questions, and encouraged us to spend time really ‘feeling’ each part of the basilica - as well as where to take good photos. Small group was perfect, and details like meeting point, text communication, and even the radios and new headphones were thoughtful and special. 10/10 would do this tour again, and recommend to friends. We had a good experience. The Familia is a very busy place with LOTs of people, yet our guide got us through. His name was Vitaly and did a very nice job for us. He, obviously, was personally very interested in the Familia — that came through during the tour.

Our guide was incredibly informative about so many aspects of the cathedral. He knew things we would never had figured out. The lower rating was because after meeting, our 6:30 group was actually passed by the 6:45 group at the entrance while we waited about 10-15 minutes for our entrance passes. I am assuming the 6:45 guide had already done that. Preparation was not the most optimal?
