Lors de notre visite publique d'art de la rue, vous pédalez en petits groupes de 15 participants maximum sur nos vélos de ville ! Vous découvrez les rues de Cologne un samedi après-midi chargé ou découvrez la scène artistique lors d'une promenade détendue le dimanche matin lorsque la ville animée semble encore somnoler. Nos guides expérimentés connaissent les spots d'art de rue les plus populaires du quartier belge et d'Ehrenfeld, ont de nombreux conseils d'initiés prêts sur la scène en évolution rapide et savent où vous pourrez vous rafraîchir avec une glace, un café ou une Kölsch pétillante pendant une petite pause. Notre Street Art Bike Tour commence à la porte de la ville d'Eigelstein, une partie de l'ancienne muraille médiévale entourant Cologne. De là, nous nous frayons un chemin dans les petites rues du quartier vers nos premiers spots de street art !
L'un des quartiers nocturnes de Cologne dans le centre-ville est notre première destination sur cette visite. Votre Guide local vous renseigne sur l'histoire, la culture et vous montre quelques trésors d'art cachés en cours de route!
L'une des places les plus populaires de Cologne et des hauts lieux du street art au cœur du quartier belge : la Brüsseler Platz. Nous quittons le centre-ville en ébullition et nous nous dirigeons vers le quartier belge. La diversité des oeuvres de street art est immense! Vous trouverez de grandes peintures murales, de petits autocollants, des carreaux, des collants, des sculptures et bien plus encore.
Ce quartier branché et multiculturel de Cologne avec des œuvres de street art colorées est certainement un must à voir dans notre visite! Nous traversons la ceinture verte - LE plus grand parc de Cologne - et continuons jusqu'au cœur d'Ehrenfeld. De nombreux artistes internationaux et locaux ont laissé leurs traces dans ce quartier cool. Nous partons en expédition street art et découvrons tout sur les œuvres colorées ! Quel sera ton préféré ?
Après avoir vu tout ce travail d'art, il est certainement difficile de décider pour une pièce ou un artiste préféré! Le pulvérisateur de bananes ? Capitaine Borderline ? Ou plutôt l'un des artistes qui pose des petits carreaux, des colles ou des pochoirs ? Alors que nous traversons la ceinture verte et passons devant le Media Park, que vous reconnaissez peut-être déjà sur l'une des grandes peintures murales, vous pouvez laisser toutes les impressions s'enfoncer pendant un moment. Et, nous sommes de retour à l'Eigelstein avec beaucoup de nouveaux souvenirs!

Although we knew Cologne, we were able to broaden our horizons on this tour. To experience Cologne from a different perspective. To experience street art not as an art form but as part of an ever-evolving society was a pleasure for us. Thanks for the - subjective - insights into this great city.

We saw many unknown and familiar corners of Cologne with Christian, which he brought to us from a completely different angle. Lots of information about art and history of Cologne in a very individual and charming guided and very entertaining tour. We were disappointed by this tour (1st time out of over 20 Viator European tours). The price point was fair (we elected the e-bikes); greeted kindly and professionally upon arrival. Unfortunately, we had 12 in our group, us two and a work group of 10. Our guide, while sweet and informative spent far too much time at each of her desired stops and due to there being 12 of us total on bikes in a busy city environment with the normal city distractions, there was no way for us to hear her speaking. Several of the stops were not what we considered "art" stops (stickers all over a city wall) and then staying there 10 minutes observing what the stickers said. There were a few stops and "too long" discussions that we felt were not even art related. Our guide Lisa spent too much time sharing her political position, nonetheless her personal art preferences and opinions and which "stickers" or paintings "she" liked best and why/why not she liked them or how they spoke to her. It was also rather difficult to navigate the BUSY city streets, people walking and driving in Cologne with 12 bikes! If this tour was done with a max 6 bikes, fewer irrelevant stops and far less "personalization" to the narratives ~ it could be an outstanding bike tour of fun wall art in Cologne and be a 2-hour tour easily vs 3 hours.

Our street art tour shows Cologne from a different perspective, away from the usual tourist trails, and sharpens the eye for the special features, little details, and themes that tend to be out of the picture on a classic city tour. We were with 10 collegues and had a great time with our guide Lisa. She did not only showed us the art pieces, but also gave us an insight view of Cologne and the political issues. We liked it a lot. Well worth the money!

Friendly welcome on arrival and good instructions, bike quality could be better but went well. Our guide Sander was enthusiastic and very friendly and showed us a nice tour of Koln. Which we noticed is a relelex city and is very nice to cycle through. The mail vd confirmation gives good parking garage advice with a route link, hence 5 min walk to the starting point. In short, highly recommended!

Great tour. Enjoyed the slower pace of a bike tour vs a bus tour. Our guide, Tobi, was great. I learned some interesting facts about Köln that I did not know even though I was born here and lived in Köln until the late ‘80s. Highly recommend !
