Après la prise en charge à votre hôtel vers 9 heures, conduisez vers le fort d’Ambre. La forteresse traditionnelle des rois Kacchawaha se trouve à Amber (Amer). C’est donc l’endroit logique pour commencer votre exploration. Le majestueux fort d’Ambre du XVIe siècle, perché au sommet d’une colline, domine le paysage et constitue le plus grand monument de Jaipur. Le Jal Mahal a été construit par le maharaja Madho Singh I pour servir de pavillon à ses groupes de chasse au canard. Le Mahal témoigne du lien qui s’est formé entre l’empire Rajput et l’empire moghol. L'architecture du palais ressemble à ces deux types de construction. La beauté du palais a été renforcée par de nombreuses générations de maharajas. Par exemple, le maharaja Jai Singh II a ajouté à la beauté du palais en créant des jardins pour rendre le Jal Mahal plus pittoresque. Après des générations de créativité, nous avons aujourd'hui la magnificence du «palais de l'eau».
Hawa Mahal signifie le «palais des vents» ou le «palais des vents». Il a 953 petites fenêtres (Jharokas), elles ont été construites pour garder le vent qui souffle à l'intérieur du palais. C'était une retraite d'été pour de nombreuses familles Rajputs à une époque ancienne. Hawa Mahal est l'une des principales attractions de Jaipur
Complexe de cours, de jardins et de bâtiments, l'impressionnant City Palace se trouve en plein centre de la vieille ville. Le mur extérieur a été construit par Jai Singh II, mais le palais a été agrandi et adapté au fil des siècles. Il y a des bâtiments de palais de différentes époques, certaines datant du début du 20ème siècle. C'est un mélange frappant d'architecture du Rajasthan et de Mughal

Lovely tour of the Amber Palace. Our guide Om was very flexible with timings and did a wonderful job of taking care of our group even when we made last minute requests. He was knowledgeable and passionate about Jaipur and its history, and even took us to get samosas at our request! It is difficult because we know that guides are required to take us to tourist shops, but because we have done this for several days we are really tired of these places and we have already spent a lot of money. But Om was very friendly and adaptable, and we enjoyed his energy.
