Préparez-vous à être pris en charge à 0h00 par notre chauffeur et Guide professionnel qui vous emmènera à Sukapura (région de Bromo à Probolinggo). Après le départ de Malang, vous arriverez à destination en 2 heures. Ensuite, nous continuerons le voyage en Jeep (4 roues motrices) pour profiter de la route cahoteuse en direction du mont Penanjakan. IT est le meilleur endroit pour profiter de la scène à couper le souffle du lever du soleil Bromo. En descendant la colline, vous passerez devant la vaste mer de sable, résultant de l'éruption du mont Bromo, dans une piste facile de 30 minutes jusqu'au sommet. Depuis le bord du cratère, vous pouvez voir le cratère Bromo actif, la caldeira et la vue montagneuse sur le mont Batok et la plus haute montagne de l'île de Java, le mont Semeru. En outre, vous pouvez trouver le temple hindou reflétant l'histoire du royaume Majapahit. Ensuite, vous pourrez déguster Petit-déjeuner dans un restaurant local et retourner à Malang.

Extraordinary experience. We have been picked up by midnight at our homestay in Malang by Gilang and his 4W4, and then driven directly to the volcan. The trip has got more and more electrifying due to the road surface while reaching the top of the volcan. After about 3 hours, we have been drop off 200 meters before the entrance of the path to the KingKong Hill panoramic view, where we could enjoy the last moments of the night sky and having a warm tea. We then got ready for the terrific spectacle of the dawn uphill. Though many people were attending the "stage", the sunrise was truly an astonishing view, and observing the volcan profile getting brighter moment by the moment was a great reward for us. After a while, we got back to the 4W4, and then have been driven to second spot, where we started our walk to the top of crater of Bromo's. As we had never seen an active "working" volcan before, we were shocked by the force of nature of the massive gas and noise coming out from the crater. Definitely an other unique experience for us. Back to the 4W4, we had the chance to catch up the volcan complex profile by different points of view on our way back home. We are thankful to Gilang, our driver and guide, who guided us with his expertise and was flexible to our necessities. Definitely a "must-have" experience.
Our guides Gilang and Dede were both extremely helpful, professional and provided us with a lot of information on Indonesian culture, people and we had a great time with lot of jokes shared. The jeep was very clean and well maintained and we totally recommend them. Thank you Dede and Gilang.
The driver picked us with his jeep, on time. At Bromo we handed over to him 250k per person for entry although the website quote 220k pp. Later he told us Madakaripura Waterfall has an extra charge, although the whole plan was agreed before purchasing. That issue was sorted after he called the agency. At Mada he surprised us with an overall new charge of 200k pp, to cover a guide, bike ride and parking on top of the entry. This was not mentioned in our early conversations although the question about extra charges was asked. We also were not confident that the bargain with the locals on the price was in our favour, and that the driver was doing his best to support us. We did have a great day and the guides were friendly but the feeling was that we were tricked into some overpriced charges. We saw this practice in other places in Indonesia where new charges were appearing after the initial entry fee was paid

For Mount Bromo, as we shared with you on Whatsapp that there are different rates on different days. The price can vary from IDR220,000 - IDR1,000,000 for foreigners. We did shared that the entrance fee is not included for the package that you have purchased. Thus, you will have to pay for the entrance fees for Mount Bromo and Madakaripura Waterfall. We booked the sunrise tour from Surabaya. The organization was very smooth and efficient. Our driver Gilang was extremely helpful and even helped us change the money for the entrance fee. The tour guide and 4x4 driver were very kind as well and overall we had an amazing experience :)
