Loved the tour! Saleh was very anmicabl and funny. He reached out the night before, arranged meeting spot and was prompt. The tour was great and I also enjoyed casual conversations about Egypt, daily life, and culture. Pick up and drop off were seamless and lunch at a local restaurant was very good. Would definitely book again.

Basem our guide was great. He was informative and delightful to speak to and listen to. The driver was super amazing and the car was spacious and well airconditioned! The museum is so big that I recommend booking a 2 day tour to be able to see it all. Do ask for Basem because you won't regret it.... he made us feel like we where in the past.

Rasha was a fabulous guide and helped us get the best out of the huge museum. She was able to connect up the pieces of Egyptian history we already knew, putting stories of King's, Queens and Pharoahs into context. She was lively and friendly and very understanding of our particular needs. Added to that our driver was fun and fearless in the craziness that is Cairo traffic. Between them, they made this a morning to remember.

It was a great experience to visit the new Egyptian Grand Museum. Since the presentations and showcases cover the entire range of the old Egyptian history, it would be difficult to do this without someone who can explain the background and the nature of the artifacts in the museum, and how they are connected. So, I was glad I booked a local guide for the tour and visit. It was well worth it and I had a great time. Secondly, the museum is very large and the guide who accompanied me made proposals focussing on my personal points of interest, as well as to how best structure the sequence of the walk through. In addition I could explore extra, in case I found something of interest in addition to the pre-discussed items. My guide had very detailed knowledge of all the galleries and exposures on display. As expected, the collection of the artifacts from King Tut's tomb was my absolute highlight, just incredible. The other exposures, such as the description of the nine pyramids in terms of design and owners, the very large collection of royal jewelry, and other items of daily life, the ceremonial boats used to transport dead kings to the Giseh sites, to name a few, are very impressive as well. I am very happy to have booked this very interesting tour. I am very happy to have had an excellent tour guide. last, not least the driver provided for the tour was also very good.

Our guide Medhat, was excellent. He was personable, patient and took great pictures for us to capture these memories. The GEM itself is breathtaking. We had a great lunch and really enjoyed the entire experience. Highly recommend!

I did this museum tour on my first day in Egypt, and it was a great first experience. My guide, Rania, and the driver, Georges, were both extremely friendly and helpful. The museum itself was so incredible and made even better by Rania's wide base of knowledge. They were even kind enough to stay late and help me with the situatoon when an ATM machine took my bank card. Must do when in Cairo, especially if you are lucky enough to travel with these guides.
