Nous avons gardé une bouteille de champagne dans votre véhicule spécialement pour vous. Une fois arrivé au Mont Saint Michel, vous vous rendrez compte qu'il valait la peine de voyager pendant des heures pour atteindre cette île magique surmontée d'une abbaye défiant la gravité, le Mont-Saint-Michel et sa baie comptent parmi les plus beaux sites de France. Pendant des siècles, l'une des principales destinations de pèlerinage en Europe, cette île sacrée est maintenant un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Après la visite du Mont Saint Michel nous nous dirigeons vers le célèbre D Day Omaha Beach. Omaha Beach est une zone de débarquement en Normandie, dans le nord de la France, utilisée par les forces alliées lors de l'invasion du jour J de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Aujourd'hui, la plage est parsemée de vestiges de bunkers allemands. Sur le rivage, la sculpture en acier inoxydable Les Braves commémore les soldats américains. Après Omaha Beach, nous retournons à votre hôtel à Paris.

Découvrez l'un des premiers sites du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO avec une visite au Mont-Saint-Michel. Explorez le site par vous-même à pied et découvrez l'histoire fascinante du site entièrement à votre rythme. Le culte de Saint Michel fut introduit sur le saint mont en 708 et il devint l'un des plus importants lieux de pèlerinage médiéval. Les moines bénédictins ont commencé à construire une abbaye ici au 10ème siècle. L'abbaye a résisté aux assauts de l'homme, du temps et des éléments. La résistance héroïque du mont aux attaques anglaises pendant la guerre de Cent Ans (XIVe et XVe siècles) en a fait un symbole de l'identité nationale française. Les moines quittèrent l'abbaye en 1790 et celle-ci fut classée monument historique en 1874. L'ensemble du site a retrouvé son lustre d'antan grâce à des travaux de restauration en cours. A friend and I booked this VIP tour for her birthday, and it ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our time in France. Visiting Mont Saint-Michel felt like stepping into a fairytale the views were breathtaking, and the entire place had a magical atmosphere that photos simply cannot fully capture. The journey is definitely long, so be prepared for a full day, but it was absolutely worth it. Every moment felt special once we arrived. Exploring the historic streets, admiring the stunning architecture, and taking in the incredible views made the experience unforgettable. The private setup made everything feel relaxed, comfortable, and exclusive, which allowed us to enjoy the day at our own pace. The champagne was also a lovely touch and made the experience feel even more special. Everything was very well organized from start to finish, and despite the long day, we came back feeling it was completely worth it. My dream omelette finally got converted into reality. I had read somewhere about the omelettes of mere Poulard. It is expensive but it was worth it. This destination is amazing. Our driver Sebastian was too good and we felt safe in the Mercedes van. Worth visiting as a day trip if you don't have time to stay overnight.
