Votre guide égyptologue sera avec vous pour vous faire voyager dans le temps afin de dévoiler le mystère de ce célèbre pharaon. Le matin, vous serez pris en charge à votre hôtel dans le centre de Louxor ou au port par un véhicule climatisé pour un voyage guidé complet d'environ 5 heures. Vous serez d'abord transporté à la nécropole de Thèbes, la vallée des rois sur la rive ouest de Louxor. Cette ancienne nécropole est un incontournable pour les voyageurs de Louxor. Vous y visiterez quatre tombeaux royaux, dont le tombeau de Ramsès, le tombeau d'Horemheb, le tombeau de Merenptah et bien sûr le tombeau du roi Tut. Le tombeau de Toutankhamon est le seul tombeau de la Vallée des Rois.
La tombe de Ramsès III, appelée KV 11, est un système complexe dans la vallée des rois. Il est connu depuis l'Antiquité. Ses magnifiques décorations comprennent des reliefs peints colorés représentant des textes rituels traditionnels (litanies de Ra, le livre des portes, etc.) et Ramsès devant les dieux. Ce qui est inhabituel, ce sont les scènes laïques, dans les petites pièces latérales du couloir d’entrée, montrant des hommages étrangers, telles que des poteries très détaillées importées de la mer Égée, l’arsenal royal, des bateaux et, donna à la tombe un de ses noms alternatifs: 'Tombeau des Harpeurs'
Le tombeau du roi Ramsès lX était le troisième pharaon de la vingtième dynastie du nouveau royaume de l'Égypte ancienne. Son nom avant d'assumer la couronne était Amonhirkhopshef. Il était le cinquième fils de Ramsès III et a été nommé au poste de prince héritier la vingt-deuxième année du règne de son père, lorsque ses quatre frères aînés sont décédés avant sa promotion au rang de prince héritier. La tombe a tellement de couleurs et de détails que même le plafond au-dessus des sarcophages avec sa déesse Nut s'étendant à travers l'espace. Le sarcophage est l'un des plus grands de la vallée, même si certaines peintures se sont détériorées, c'est l'un des plus décorés.
Après avoir visité les tombes, vous serez transporté au temple de la reine Hatchepsout (Deir el-Bahari), la seule femme à avoir jamais régné sur l'Egypte en tant que pharaon. Cette reine était un ancêtre du roi Toutankhamon et appartenait à la même dynastie.
Dans la mythologie égyptienne, Ptah est le démiurge de Memphis, dieu des artisans et des architectes. Dans la ou simplement dans sa forme de faucon de la nouvelle divinité, a commencé à être placé dans des tombeaux pour accompagner et protéger les morts lors de leur voyage à l'ouest de Louxor. La tombe 8, située dans la Vallée des Rois, était l'inhumation modèle du tombeau royal Merneptah était un fils de Ramsès II et de la reine Isis-Nofret. Le tombeau a été découvert par Howard Carter en 1903. Il est bien évident que le nombre de pièces latérales a diminué de manière substantielle. augmentation spectaculaire de la hauteur des couloirs et des salles. Il supprima l'axe de jogging utilisé depuis Horemheb et construisit la tombe entière sur un seul axe. Hassan was an excellent guide! He provided a great 'big picture' look at Egyptian history that we found incredibly interesting.
