Description

Walking to monument at Westerplatte was great. Guide (Brzeta? Spelling may be incorrect) was very knowledgeable and accommodating.
Guide was nice but not super talkative (didn’t give a lot of commentary unless we asked questions). He was knowledgeable and kind, but just not very enthusiastic.
Thank you for your review. We really appreciate it! That is very helpful information, we know what we have to improve in trainings of the guides. Sorry that you had to make an effort to get information, but I hope that in the end of the day you get all of it and your experience was good, and visit in our beautiful city was good as well.
What an amazingly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, entertaining and friendly tour guide Bożena was. We felt as if we were spending time with a friend. We loved being driven around in the warmth of Bozena’s car as it was very chilly. She answered all our questions and gave us fabulous tips of where to eat. We did not feel rushed at all visiting the World War Two sites and old town. Thank you ever so much Bozena. This tour is not to be missed.
This guide is straight out the best guide there is. Very knowledgeable about the history of the city and area and eager to share and welcoming.
Thank you for your review 😁 We are happy that you had a good experience… you had a short visit, so still there is a lot of things to discover in Gdansk, so you are welcome back one day ;)
This tour was the absolute highlight of our 15-day trip to the Baltic! The tour company is very professional and reached out to us several times in advance of the tour to make sure we had the meeting information. They also noticed that our ship was arriving at a different port than originally planned, and contacted us to adjust the times to ensure we got the full experience. Bozenka greeted us at the port with a sign and made heading out very easy. We were in a comfortable private mini bus with plenty of complimentary bottled water - a touch I really appreciated after paying another company 2 Euros per bottle in Finland. It took about 45 minutes to get to Westerplatte to see the monuments from the first battle of WWII. Bozenka shared tons of stories with us along the way and was absolutely charming. We then headed to Gdansk where the tour company has special privileges to enter and park, so it was very convenient. The city is spectacular and we appreciated all the information shared. Bozenka went at our pace and answered all of our questions. She was willing to share information about her life in Poland and we enjoyed hearing about her family. We were returned to the port right on time. It was a great day we will not soon forget!
