Cette île est connue pour son bon rhum, ici on nous montrera comment ils le fabriquent et nous essayerons également 8 types de rhums
Ce n'est pas l'emplacement de la statue du Christ Rédempteur à Puerto Plata (car elle est assez éloignée du centre-ville), mais cet endroit, qui fait partie de la montagne Isabel de Torres, offre l'une des plus belles vues, parfaite pour prendre de superbes photos du paysage !
Pour les amateurs d'histoire et de bijoux c'est un arrêt obligatoire, nous saurons où et comment ils trouvent les belles pierres d'Ambre et de Larimar
L'histoire cachée de cette ruelle nous fait arrêter pour prendre une photo, elle est totalement rose
L'un des endroits les plus visités de la ville, entouré de beaucoup de joie, de boutiques et de cafés
Cette visite le long de la promenade colorée de la ville est une belle expérience avec la belle plage bleue d'un côté, on peut également voir la célèbre statue de Poséidon
L'expérience de goûter différents types de chocolat biologique de la République Dominicaine est incontournable.
C'est l'un des endroits les plus anciens de la ville, il se trouve au bord de la mer, sa beauté est unique
Nous avons sélectionné cette plage pour sa beauté et son intimité, c'est également une bonne option car elle dispose de bons restaurants, de salles de bains tout autour, de parasols et de chaises de plage.

CRIQUE D'AMBRE : À votre arrivée au port, rendez-vous à la zone Taxi, où votre chauffeur vous attendra à l'intérieur du port. BAIE DE TAINO : À votre arrivée au port, rendez-vous à la zone des taxis, juste après la Lazy River. Votre chauffeur vous y attendra.

Jose was a great tour guide with positive, friendly energy. He guided us through the town taking us to a jewelry museum and chocolate factory before our stop at the beach. It was a great, easy way to explore on our cruise stop and we highly recommend it!

Phenomenal experience from start to finish! We had a private tour with Joseph Alvarez and he was amazing! On our tour of the country area, we were given a treat by visiting a local farm stand and learning about the indigenous plants, fruits, drinks, and tobacco history of the island. Upon driving to the city, we visited the Rum Factory, a chocolate experience, Amber and Larimar shops, the downtown area with time for photos and stops at Paseo de Doña Blanca and Calle de las Sombrillas and independence plaza. Joseph was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and proud to answer all our questions and share his beautiful home. Due to heavy traffic, we did not visit the beach at Playa Dorada, but stopped at a beach along the Malecon. The beach was not as "picturesque" as the advertised one at Black Jack Tar, but we enjoyed the stop and free time and it also allowed us time to stop at the Fort on the way back. Our only wish was that we had more time to explore and visit this beautiful area. We will definitely be back and could not recommend this tour highly enough!

The tour was only okay. The driver was difficult to understand. He took us to a rum factory, a chocolate factory, and an amber store, all of which were attempting to sell their products. He then took us to a nice beach and restaurant. Too much solicitation of sale for our liking.
Our goal is to provide visitors with an authentic experience of Puerto Plata, which includes stops at local rum, chocolate, and amber producers. While these locations do offer products for sale, there is never any obligation to purchase, and we understand that this style of tour may not be for everyone. We also apologize if communication with your driver was difficult at times. We had a great time seeing beautiful Puerto Plata eating great food meeting. Nice people doing some shopping. I even got to visit the Biblioteca. Highly recommended.

Joseph was amazing! Very accommodating and friendly loved his country and gave us great pointers for next time. We did not like how pushy the vendors were in the countryside except Julian!! Man he was amazing! But others did not give us room to look. Also beware of those asking you if you want pictures as they were trying to push for us to pay them more. It was very uncomfortable.
