Visite privée à pied de Toulouse avec un habitant

Description

Our guide was Stephanie. She was amazing. She has lived in Toulouse for decades. She knew so much history and current local lore as well as great restaurant and museum suggestions. The small group size was great. It was just our family. We did the 2 hour walk which was just enough time to get the highlights of many interesting places to which we could return. We were there on the first Sunday of the month. On that day each month, all public museums are free entry. One of the most interesting things she showed us were the murals on the ceiling of the entryways to the restaurants across from Les capitole depicting the history of Toulouse. Great walking tour at a very reasonable price
Denise was exceptional. Engaging, fun and informative. She kept a good pace, gave just the right level of information, and provided a fantastic overview of Toulouse. She had some great recommendations for bars and restaurants too!
Filipe was a gracious and accommodating guide with an obvious love for Toulouse and good stories to tell. Highly recommend.
Great guide, very pleasant and knowledgeable . He also provided information about places to see that were not on the tour.
Arthur seemed to be very inexperienced guide and knew very little about the history of this city. The Tour existed of places that he was just familiar with, many bookstores and student hangouts. We asked many questions and his answer was “ That is a very good question, I will have to look that up.” He spoke very softly and was very difficult to understand unless you were standing right next to him. There were four in our group and none of us enjoyed the tour.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your group did not enjoy the walk with Arthur. While we encourage our Lokafyers to share their favorite local spots, this should never come at the expense of providing a meaningful overview of the city. We also recognize that clear communication is essential, especially for a group of four. We will be reviewing these points to ensure our local guides understand how to better balance personal recommendations with the broader context and physical presence required to lead a tour.
Felipe was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and, most importantly to us, flexible to our requests. It is always a nice touch to learn about hidden gems during the tour! I recommend this tour to anyone who visits Toulouse, France, for the first time.
Felipe, our guide, provided us with a tremendous introduction to Toulouse, showing us the “must see” locations as well as a few less well publicized points of interest. He was knowledgeable about the distinctive history and architecture of Toulouse and Occitane, and of the various relics to be found in the different churches and convents. He was also kind and generous, sending us a list of suggestions of other things to do and see during our visit.
Great tour to see the highlights of the two lovely towns. Really recommend this tour. Amazing history of France.
Great way to see the sights with a deeper understanding of the city and insights into some hidden gems Rain couldn’t dampen the tour Unfortunately the central building was closed to visitors on the day maybe because it was a Monday
Stephanie was a great guide. She had the ability to share her favorite things and provide history about Toulouse well. During the walk she had me step in and view different buildings and did with ease. Also great tips on places to eat and purchase pastel items.
