A fantastic informative tour - Adilson was so passionate about his city and knowledgeable- we learned so much about the African history and its impact. Recommended restaurants were spot on ! Definitely recommend and enjoy !
unforgettable highlight of Salvador. Our guide Adnelson was amazing — engaging, knowledgeable, and truly brought the history to life with every step. As visitors of African descent, we especially valued the rich cross-cultural exchanges, which made the experience feel deeply personal and meaningful. We would highly recommend this as a number one tour in Salvador — insightful, moving, and not to be missed.
We had a lovely walk of the old town with Enrique who changed our meeting place so it would be more convenient for us. He gave us the somewhat sad history of Salvador which we found illuminating and made the occasional cooling off stop which included a delicious gelato stop. All in all a lovely morning.
Shout out to the amazing network behind this tour, everything was organized seamlessly and thoughtfully put together. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, covering both the history and present in a way that made everything click. I appreciated how they answered all my questions and even gave personalized recommendations. Definitely a great experience all around and highly recommended.
The guide was very knowledgeable and took us around Pelourinho and the other parts of Salvador. A great tour to do on your first day here in order to understand how the city works and where to go. The guide spoke very good french and english and gave us advice for the rest of the trip, with regards to activities and restaurants. Also explained how to deal with locals and stay safe. I would highly recommend him!
The guide Carlos is an excellent professional. We made a lovely walk through the streets of Salvador. He told us about the city, explained details of the history and culture of the place, typical meals, gave tips where to go and what to do in the other days we were there. It was wonderful. We were very happy with the guide Carlos.
We've done several self tours with GPS and other vendors. This one did not talk to us at all and it did not give us GPS on going directions as we were going. Instead it was a static view of where it was with no idea how far we were going to go . Would not do this again
Wonderful tour with Facundo. Totally recommended to know pelourinho Recommended excellent places to continue knowing
OObrigado pelo feedback 🙂
Grand tour. If you want to know part of the history of Salvador do it with Salvador. You won't regret it. I was going to walk the pelourinho alone... good thing I hired this tour... impeccable.
Obrigado pelo feedback 🙂
Our trip to Salvador was with understanding and appreciation for its rich culture and history. If Enrique had not been our guide, this would not have been the case. Salvador is a complex place that can either confuse its visitors or lure them in. Enrique lured us in. He explained the history in a way that made the subject accessible and fascinating. His passion for the city is contagious and we left the tour feeling totally enchanted. Enrique not only knows his way around, he seems to know everyone. Since we were with Enrique, street vendors were happy to let us sample what they were selling (don’t miss out on the coconut lime water) and we felt connected to the people. Enrique made our trip to Salvador magical. We highly recommend him.
Obrigado pelo feedback 🙂 Até a próxima :-) <3
