Construite sur une ancienne mosquée dont il reste des vestiges, la cathédrale de Séville est considérée comme la plus grande cathédrale gothique du monde et l'une des plus spectaculaires d'Europe. Ici, nous pouvons trouver le tombeau de Christophe Colomb, toujours entouré de controverses.
Avec ses près de 100 mètres de haut, la Giralda de Séville est sans aucun doute l'un des symboles de cette ville monumentale. Ancien minaret de la mosquée de la ville, à l'époque chrétienne il a été réutilisé pour être la tour de la cathédrale. Profitez de la vue depuis ce qui était jusqu'à récemment le point culminant de la ville.
Commençant sa construction à l'époque islamique, l'Alcazar de Séville est un mélange de styles qui ne vous laissera pas indifférent. Ses chambres, patios et jardins sont dignes de la splendeur qu'a vécue cette ville dans le passé. Aujourd'hui, c'est toujours la résidence de la monarchie espagnole lors de leurs voyages à Séville.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Seville and the Alcazar in particular. She also took us to a couple of places off the tourist track. We also appreciated her keeping us under shelter and shade as much as possible given the heat.

We had a wonderful tour of Seville with Christina. She did an excellent job showing us the Seville Cathedral, the Royal Palace of Seville, and the Jewish Quarter. Christina was very knowledgeable, explained the history clearly, and made everything interesting and easy to understand for our whole family. She was patient, friendly, and kept everyone engaged throughout the tour. The only negative was that the microphone/audio equipment was poor and really needs to be updated, since it was difficult to hear clearly at times. Aside from that, the tour was excellent. We learned so much and truly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend Christina to anyone visiting Seville!
