Greg is amazing

This is hands down the best tour ever! Greg was my family’s tour guide and he was so knowledgeable and really knew the history of New York. We were shocked at some of the history he was showing us and explaining… We absolutely love Brooklyn and the Bronx and he even gave us a tip on where to eat dinner. Juniors was sooo good! We are so blessed to have done this tour!

First Visit to New York.

This tour was excellent, our guide was Trey and he made sure we saw everything we wanted to see and more, we created a list of everything we wanted to see in the 4.5 hour tour. He new that i had recently had a full hip replacement and may not be able to complete the tour but with short breaks i did. He looked after us very well and many thanks to him for making our time in New York very special.

A true highlight of our week!!

This tour was a definite highlight of our week in the city! David was a FANTASTIC guide!! He engaged equally well with my wife and me as well as our teenage kids. He has a deep knowledge of the area. He shared history and some celebrity information related to the area. He worked in coffee (and Shake Shack - for the kids) stops along the way. He took care of us from the start and made sure that we knew how to get to our next destination after the tour. My kids fondly referenced David several times in the days following our time with him. We highly recommend this tour!!

I’m so glad to hear that you and your kids enjoyed the tour with David. We really aim to find the right mix of stops and info to appeal to the whole family—coffee and Shake Shack always help!

Excellent!

We have been to NYC multiple times, mostly around specific events, so we wanted to spend some time exploring other areas and the culture. Sonja was such a delight as we explored Brooklyn, DUMBO, & Brooklyn Heights! It was a melting hot day, and she was flexible for my teenage daughter and me. We even had time to explore the Financial District, too. This team was wonderful to work with during our stay in August, and we look forward to exploring again with them!

If you have any sense - book Max!

This was a truly amazing walking tour. Max and his company came highly recommended and I am going to do the same to everyone one I meet and know who is planning a trip to NYC. We had the best time with Max. He came and met us in the West Village and walked us around where we were staying, pointing out interesting buildings and taking us to his favourite spots. He then took us up to the high line, and then to buy ME and my wife a Birthday cookie (the best we had on the trip and has now ruined any other cookies for me) and then on over the Brooklyn Bridge, to Dumbo and Brooklyn Heights. He is exceptionally good at what he does; knowledgable, funny, relaxed and professional. We also took his tip(s) on Williamsburg and had a fantastic day! Thank you Max! New York is now my favourite city and I look forward to seeing you soon in the future. We will of course recommend you to all our friends!

Best Guide for Big Group

I hired Max to lead a group of about 40 mostly seniors from Wall St to DUMBO (by ferry) with a return walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. Max has a very easy going manner, a nice sense of humor, and an incredible knowledge of/passion for his city. He gave us insights into NYC history, sharing the stories of the bridge’s construction and of those who built it. He went beyond that to show and explain how the city has changed in recent years and what it is today. I also hired Max to take us on a walking tour of midtown. Again, home run. He walked and talked at a pace that was comfortable but conducive to seeing many of the central city sights. Hire him. Suggestion: if you are a large group, consider ordering Quietvox headsets so that the guide can speak in a normal voice and everyone hears him loud and clear in their ear.

Surprise Birthday

Max took 5 couples sightseeing around Brooklyn and Dumbo-he did not disappoint! We have had multiple tours with City Rovers and have loved each one! Thanks, Max, for helping us organize and pull of this surprise!

Central Park and a Brooklyn Bridge Walks

This is my second time meeting up with a Max whilst on vacation in NYC. My group loved both walks and I can’t recommend highly enough this way to see the city. Max is informative and shows you the sights in a way you would never be able to appreciate them walking around alone. I can not recommend Max’s tours highly enough and I will definitely be back next time. Thank you Max (again) x
