Upon my arrival to study abroad in Prague, my mom and I went on a few tours with the kind and incredibly educated Bonita and Vadim; I had a really wonderful time. I had such an amazing welcome to the city I will be living for the next few months, and I felt quickly adjusted and well equipped to tackle my semester here after gaining a wealth of information from both Vadim and Bonita. We explored the city, I learned the tram system, had a delicious lunch at a local cafe, and learned about Czech history in great depth. These are not your average tour guides- that are simply doing their job and going through the motions of walking around and showing sights- Bonita and Vadim have a passion for what they do and it is extremely apparent. I have recommended this tour to many of the new friends I have made here, and I encourage anyone visiting Prague to book this personal tour!
Vadim took us on an inspired tour of Prague. It was our first time there and we wanted a rough overview because we were going to be there for a few more days. He took us to all the well-known places and was really knowledgeable about the history of and salient facts about the sites. He was really friendly and engaging; he wasn’t just reciting facts by rote. He made a ton of recommendations for other places to visit, restaurants, bars, and even hotels in Kralovy Vary, where we went after Prague. I highly recommend Vadim and Bonita and Insight Cities! Now that we’re traveling again, I will look for cities where they have tours because I know the tour will be the highest quality.
Exceptional guides with a wealth of information about the most beautiful city! Our tours with Bonita and Vadim were truly incredible. They possess an immense amount of knowledge about everything Prague - it’s rich history, the beautiful sights, restaurants, shops, etc. We we’re fortunate to have 3 incredible tours, a delicious lunch at a gorgeous cafe and memories to last a lifetime. Bonita and Vadim are not your typical your guides who recite information. They are passionate about every destination, leave no details out and make the e prorations incredibly fun and engaging. My daughter is lucky to be studying in Prague this fall and hopefully do more tours with Bonita and Vadim in other cities!! Thank you both for the warm hospitality and the lifelong memories!!
This tour was incredible. Bonita is a wealth of knowledge and information. This is not a tour where the guide just recites information without having a deeper understanding of the history or culture surrounding these sites. She was able to answer every question we had and include it into the greater context of the history and culture. I enjoyed my time on this tour tremendously and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and engaging tour guide.
The tour was exceptional!! Of course we fell in love with Prague, it is a magical city, full of beauty and kind people. And our tour guide, Vadim, only made it better! His knowledge of Prague is extensive and he could answer any question we had! From history dates to customs to where to have lunch! And he was very accommodating to us with stopping to warm up and rest. Excellent tour!!!!
We were a small group of four (me, my wife, and my in-laws) and Insight Cities gave us a wonderful, detailed, and wildly interesting tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, walking us through the history of various buildings and whisking us down side streets as if the city's map was implanted onto her brain. She also left us with some great recommendations for the rest of our stay in Prague. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Prague!
Bonita is very nice and kind. She shared a lot of local life experience in Prague today and during the old times. The children and adults were very happy with the tour
I have been using Insight Cities as my "go to" for touring American study abroad students (I am a Site Director for a US Study abroad provider). Vadim is an amazing guide, not only is he extremely well versed and knowledgeable. He is also so friendly and engaging that he captivated my students. Instead of walking around pointing things out, Vadim would engage with them, ask questions and relate to the topics and places he would be showing students. I highly recommend this company if you want a tour by folks who know their stuff and who are genuinely amazing people.
Thanks for the great feedback. Wow, do we miss your student groups. Here's hoping that 2021 sees the solution to the pandemic and the recovery of overseas study and travel. It's been a special pleasure for Vadim and for me and other members of our guide team to tour you and your students over the years.
Great tour with one of the most knowledgeable guides I have ever used. They also were very helpful in altering the tour to meet our interests and input. They also provided us with additional recommendations based on our interests including shopping, museums, restaurants and other sites. Highly recommend this tour company especially when you want to be educated while seeing the sights.
Thanks so much for the warm review and for booking with us. Every booking is a blessing at this rough time for travel and we enjoyed meeting you and your family!
Great tour. We have done multiple tours with Bonita and Vadim and all were fantastic. We were a large group with a wide range of ages and they kept it fun and interesting for everyone.
Thanks for the kind words. It was fun to meet you and show you some of this great old Bohemian capital. Hope to see you on Insight Cities tours in Berlin, Vienna, Budapest and Salzburg in the future.
