Nous serons plus qu'heureux d'adapter l'itinéraire à vos préférences pendant la durée de la visite de 8 heures. La journée typique consiste à visiter 1 ou 2 palais et jardins à l'intérieur et à interagir avec le reste de l'extérieur. Avec la pause conduite et déjeuner, ce sera une journée longue, enrichissante (et géniale). De plus, des chaussures confortables et une veste de rechange sont recommandées à Sintra.

Explorer la vieille ville de Sintra
C'est le palais royal le plus ancien du Portugal et il est riche en histoire. En visitant le palais, vous pourrez aller à la cuisine et vous retrouver sous les cheminées emblématiques en forme de cône qui deviennent le logo de Sintra.
Vous aurez l'occasion de marcher sur les murs de ce fascinant château médiéval et d'admirer la vue magnifique depuis le sommet de la montagne. Il est important de mentionner que le château maure est physiquement exigeant.

Quinta da Regaleira est probablement l'un des endroits les plus uniques au monde et principalement grâce à un puits qui s'enfonce profondément dans le jardin avec des tunnels souterrains que vous pouvez emprunter pour sortir du puits.

Margarida was a wonderful guide and we had an absolutely perfect day!! She customized our tour allowing us to see the places we asked to see and filling the remainder of the day with unforgettable spots she could tell we would love. She is very knowledgeable, super friendly and made our tour an amazing experience!

Carolina was great - very flexible about the plan for the day and adapting as we tired quickly in the heat. She provided background on the sites we visited: Moorish Castle (awesome!), Regaleira (we'd been last year, but still amazing), and Pena Palace (this year the wall walk was open, unlike our visit last year). The other couple had not been to Portugal before, so all new to them. We are all curious people and Carolina answered our many questions. We also drove out to Cabo da Roca on the way home.

We had an extraordinary day trip to Sintra with our guide João. He is a consummate professional and that was clear from start to finish in every detail. He was very well versed on the history of Sintra, and provided fascinating details and context without ever going into the weeds. We had requested a Spanish speaking guide (we are intermediate speakers) and he seamlessly moved back and forth between Spanish and English as the situation required. This made the trip even more enjoyable. He knows every corner of Sintra and made sure we optimized every minute of the tour. On the way back to Lisbon he took us along the coastal route, including the western most point in continental Europe, and quick spin through Cascais. Beautiful scenery, relaxing drive, perfect way to cap off the day. João was exactly the right person for this trip and we very much appreciated his knowledge, expertise and warmth.

We wanted to tour Sintra and part of Lisbon we hadn’t seen yet but didn’t want to spend the day frustrated with navigation and parking and lines on a hot day. Having a great private guide to share the day with made all the difference in our enjoyment and the bonus was a cultural exchange through our conversations throughout the day. Margarita was informative, fun and made us very comfortable. She asked us up front what experience we were looking for and helped us achieve it. She helped us find a great and delicious lunch spot out of the touristy areas and she kept us out of long lines all day. Highly recommend her and her company next time you are in the Lisbon area.

This trip was fantastic! Carolina picked 4 of us up at our hotel in Lisbon and drove us to Sintra where we saw the National palace of Sintra, Quinta Regaleira, Moorish Castle, Pena Palace and Cabo da Roca all in one day. It was a tall order but those sites were the ones we asked to see and Carolina made it happen!! She paced the day strategically, zipped us past the other zillion tourists waiting in line, and guided us through each site (which were all very complex and maze-like). There is no way we could have seen this much on our own! At the same time she explained the history and architecture of each site. As a bonus treat, Carolina introduced us to Sintra’s very own famous pastry, a travesseiro, which may even be better than a pastel de nata! This tour has been the highlight of our time in Lisbon and Carolina is an exceptional guide and a really fun person to spend time with!!
