Le Tōdai-ji est un temple bouddhiste situé à Nara, au Japon. Il a été fondé au début du VIIIe siècle pendant la période Nara et est l'un des temples les plus célèbres et les plus importants du Japon. La salle principale du temple, connue sous le nom de Daibutsuden, est l'un des plus grands bâtiments en bois au monde, et abrite une statue géante en bronze du Bouddha connu sous le nom de Daibutsu ou Grand Bouddha. La statue mesure plus de 15 mètres de haut et pèse environ 500 tonnes, ce qui en fait l'une des plus grandes statues de bronze au monde. My family and I just finished a great day tour of Kyoto with Hamzah. The tour was great to hit all of the top attractions in Kyoto in a single day. Hamzah was very knowledgeable of the area and very friendly. My 8 year old son loved the comfort of Hamzah’s van with the luxury near lie flat seats in the back for our journey from Osaka.
