We did a food tour and a 1/2 day city tour on our first two days in Argentina. Fabian was our guide and he was amazing! He shared about history, current politics, food, and even music. He and my husband were music buffs and they enjoyed talking about favorite bands when we had a few minutes of down time when we were walking. He brought the city to life for us! The food in the tour was more than enough for our evening meal.

Elisabeth is fantastic! She planned 2 days of touring and adventure starting with our hotel pickup. Everything went seamlessly. She is organized, communicative and responsive, which is much appreciated when you are in a foreign country. Not only is Elisabeth incredibly knowledgeable, but she is lovely to spend the day with. We highly recommend her. Thank you and we hope to see you again!

Trip February 2024 It has taken us a while to write about our experience but we want to express our gratitude to Ms Elisabet Jeckel. Thank you Ms. Elisabet for everything you did to make our trip so great. We have planned several trips before with different travel agents and I want to say that she did not disappoint us. It was a very pleasant experience and it has been a pleasure to interact with her. From the beginning she inquired about our plans and helped us a lot to refine the itinerary for the trip. From offering us transfers between Argentine airports, money exchange, reservations to restaurants with excellent service and quality in their meals, reservations for an excellent tango show and the excursion to the Tigre River. And many thanks also to Dario, our driver and companion during our journey. Excellent person, very kind, respectful and cordial. I would definitely not hesitate to use their services again on another trip to Buenos Aires. I recommend it one hundred percent.

We were on transit in Buenos Aires. I contacted Iconic BA and Elisabet was very helpful organising a city tour of BA for us. We visited the must places in BA. Elisabet was very professional and shared huge number of insights with us including on Argentinian politics and economics. We used Iconic Tours for our full day tour of Buenos Aires at the suggestion of a well-traveled friend. We were not disappointed. The logistics of the trip (pick-up, drop-off etc) we’re perfectly timed. But Barbara’s knowledge of the City and her ability to convey it in interesting ways was excellent. Barbara also took time to show us her favorite attractions (that we’d have otherwise missed) and explained why they were special to her. All in, we had a very interesting, very special day in BA thanks to Barbara’s professionalism and attentiveness. Will use her again.

We had a wonderful custom tour of Buenos Aires with Barbara. She made flawless arrangements to pick us up at one airport in the morning and drop us off another airport in the evening after an interesting day exploring the city, including a stop at a delicious restaurant. She is very knowledgable and gave us a unique window into the daily life of a "porteno"!

After spending 9 hours with Barbara, I now feel I have a friend forever in Buenos Aires. I interviewed numerous private guides and Barbara stood above all the rest, as evidenced by her service when we arrived in BA. She and our private driver waited on our late arrival, ready with the AC car and bottled water. It was a relaxing introduction after a long flight. While we had pre-selected some sites. Barbara was quick to adjust the itinerary based on traffic, crowds, and our delay. It all went smooth. In fact, we covered what is normally done in 2-3 days in under 7 hours, and NEVER felt rushed. She knew exactly how to adapt. As for her knowledge, WOW! She was a wealth of knowledge and I wish I had recorded everything. Barbara knows exactly how to balance pace and information. Not too fast and not too long. She never bored us with information, but kept us moving with the perfect amount of information. When breaks were needed she know exactly what to do. I made two adjustments to the itinerary based on seeing some sites. She adapted like a pro. As someone who uses guides all the time, I would rank Barbara among the best. I wish I had more days to spend with her.

Three friends and I had two days spare in Buenos Aires and when we looked at discovering a little bit more about the city we found that the City Buses were not very well reviewed. I decided that a personal tour for the four of us might be a better way, so I looked further and discovered Elizabet and her team. After a few brief discussions the previous day we determined what would be our priorities in the tour the very reasonable fee was determined and all was set. Elizabet and her very elegant driver, Jorge, picked us up from our Recoleta hotel right on time at 9.30 and for the next 7 hours we were chauffeured from interesting place to interesting place. Not too much and not too little. We had a great lunch together and all four of us learned a lot about BA and Argentina. In a word - EXCELLENT. Thanks Elizabet and Jorge. One word of caution would be that you should call earlier than I did - I was LUCKY!
