Guided group tour of 15/03 in the afternoon. The exhibition's set-up examines Bernini's works in the period from the first collaborations, with his father Pietro, until the whole period under the patronage of Scipione Borghese and Maffeo Barberini. The guide of our group Vincenzo wisely alternates the detailed explanation of the works, weaving it with important moments in the sculptor's life. Anecdotes and historical events are embedded in the narrative, making the narrative lively and helping to facilitate understanding and memorization of information. I highly recommend to everyone the guided tours of Rome Guides. For those who want to visit the exhibition I also suggest buying tickets online.
The Bernini and the Barberini exhibition is something wonderful in itself, but with Vincenzo it has become a simply unforgettable experience. It was not just a guided tour: it was a real journey through time. With his overwhelming passion, his infectious sympathy and his unique way of telling, Vincenzo made us enter completely into Bernini’s era, making us live the exhibition as if we were really there. The anecdotes about Bernini and his father, the details told with enthusiasm, the curiosity, the laughter, everything was so alive and engaging that we forget the present for a few hours. It almost seemed to walk alongside the protagonists of that time, breathing their story, their genius, their emotions. Vincenzo does not just explain: he transports, engages, excites. He has that rare talent of making art alive, close, human. And always do it with lightness, intelligence and a smile. The only thing is to say little: Vincenzo is really magical. Thanks to him we have not only seen this exhibition... we have lived it to the full.
Thanks to A Vincenzo of Rome guides it was a journey into the Baroque of the seventeenth century in Rome. Thank you and thank you again

Visit to the Caravaggio exhibition at Palazzo Barberini. Very complete and engaging explanation, with many anecdotes and details. Vincenzo always prepared and able to keep the attention of the participants for over an hour and a half of visit. Thank you for giving us the chance not to miss this ultra sold out exhibition!
I organized four groups that visited with the legendary Vincenzo Spina the exhibition Caravaggio 2025 at Palazzo Barberini, all enthusiastic about his exhaustive explanations, very prepared and engaging : through the life of Caravaggio explained the various works on display and thanks to the works on display we relived the life of the great artist. We will be back soon!!
Vincenzo is enthralling! Dressed in breeches, he failed to disguise his contagious enthusiasm and passionate knowledge. He gave us unprecedented details of the era and life of the brawling and irascible Michelangelo—those curiosities you don't read in books. It 'was a journey into the seventeenth century Roman through speaking works (the voice was Vincenzo!). See you next adventure!
Vincenzo Spina guide exceptional , super positive experience. We had the pleasure of having it other times.....the best!!!!
Caravaggio at Palazzo Barberini. Michelangelo Merisi's unruly genius, life and works. Our guide (Vincenzo) as always has us passionate with his narration. Many works on display. Lighting to improve.
