Vous serez accueilli à votre hôtel par votre guide privé et dirigez-vous vers la base de la montagne Corcovado en voiture, en passant par les plages de Rio et la lagune Rodrigo de Freitas sur le chemin.
En arrivant dans le quartier de Cosme Velho, vous emprunterez un train à crémaillère suisse unique qui grimpe la montagne de sa base jusqu'au sommet. Le sommet est atteint en montant un escalier pour arriver à l'emblématique statue du Christ Rédempteur. La vue, de ce point de vue, avec la forêt nationale environnante de Tijuca s'étendant en contrebas et un cercle de montagnes fermant l'horizon tout au fond de la baie de Guanabara est vraiment spectaculaire. Après un certain temps pour se promener et prendre des photos, nous redescendons.
Nous nous dirigeons ensuite vers le quartier bohème de Santa Teresa, qui abrite une collection de boutiques et de galeries locales. Le charmant quartier de Santa Teresa abrite également de nombreux bars et restaurants branchés proposant plusieurs options de collations et de plats, sans oublier ses vues à couper le souffle. Ne le manquez pas!
De Santa Teresa à Lapa, il y a les célèbres marches Selaron, un escalier décoré de carreaux colorés. Connu pour son ambiance bohème énergique, «Lapa» est le quartier le plus animé de la ville de jour comme de nuit.
Nous traversons ensuite le centre-ville de Rio à travers certaines des zones touristiques les plus branchées, attrapant des sites et de la culture jusqu'à la place Mauá. La promenade passe par des attractions historiques, de nombreux bars et restaurants, pour arriver sur la place Mauá où toutes les tribus et les gens se réunissent.
La place Mauá allie beauté, sécurité, style et beaucoup de culture pour respirer tout en admirant la splendeur du «Musée de demain». Obtenez des informations historiques, mais d'une manière amusante que vous n'avez jamais connue ailleurs!
Nous remonterons ensuite le Pain de Sucre. Une série de deux téléphériques vous mènera au sommet du Pain de Sucre. Au sommet, encore une fois certaines des vues les plus époustouflantes de Rio, cette fois d'un point de vue différent de celui du Corcovado. Après cela, les touristes voudront peut-être déjeuner dans un très bon restaurant-grill «à volonté» (non inclus).
Le temple du football brésilien le plus important. Stade des faits et événements importants du football brésilien comme la Coupe du monde de football 1950 et 2014 et le millième but marqué du football du roi Pelé, en 1969. Après cela, les touristes voudront peut-être déjeuner dans un très bon restaurant-grill «à volonté» (non inclus).
Plage qui a inspiré la composition de la célèbre chanson "Ipanema Girl". Belle plage qui mérite toute la renommée et l'admiration.
Nous allons également passer par plusieurs points d'intérêt en cours de route, notamment les plages de Copacabana et d'Ipanema, le stade Maracanã (à l'extérieur) et d'autres sites touristiques. Après votre excursion, vous serez ramené à votre hôtel et déposé, où vous aurez l'après-midi libre.

Our guide Sergio was more than fantastic. He was punctual, attentive, spoke very good English and very personable. He texted us via WhatsApp the day before the tour to confirm the time and pick-up. Along the tour he kept us informed of the history behind the sights we were about to visit and various other nuggets of information about the city. It was our first time in Rio and we wanted a good understanding of the local culture beyond the fun beaches. The private tour was well organized and gave us a great opportunity to customize for things we wanted to see. Take a look at what's included and work with the guide to make it your own! We found we needed 6 hours to cover our favorites. I also suggest starting a little after rush hour to make it easier to get around town. (10 am for example). Our guide, Sergio, was very knowledgeable of the history, cool neighborhoods, food and art of the area. He gave us his experience of the local gay culture as well. We had a great time and really high recommend Sergio and the tour!
