Our guide Burat was exceptionally knowledgeable and flexible. We’d seen the Grand Bazaar the day before, so he offered us several other options. The time flew by, and we were very happy with the experience. Would recommend to anyone!

Our guide, Burak Öztuncer did an outstanding job showing us the beautiful city of Istanbul. Burak was very knowledgeable of all the sites sharing history of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cisterns and Grand Bazaar. We shopped, shared lunch and had a truly wonderful day. Great job, Burak!
We had a great tour of Istanbul with our guide Gulsevim! We would highly recommend this tour with her. We were able to visit the beautiful Blue Mosque which is free entry for everyone and we also visited the Hogia Sophia which we ended up paying an additional $130 for the two of us- we didn’t think this was worth it since the other Mosque was free. Our guide also took us to the Grand Bazaar which was totally amazing and huge!!
Thank you for your kind review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your tour and loved the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar. Just to clarify for future guests, the official Hagia Sophia entrance fee is €25 per person (€50 for two), so the $130 mentioned in the review is not the entrance fee for two visitors. We’re sorry if there was any misunderstanding regarding the additional cost. Thank you again for joining us and for recommending Gulsevim!
Our guide Anil was awesome. He picked us up from our cruise ship terminal and spent the whole day with us. He was knowledgeable about the history of the city, patient and made our experience very enjoyable. We hardly waited in lineups. Its definitely worthwhile to use a guide as a tourist
We had an excellent time with Burak. He was incredibly warm and friendly. We felt like he listened carefully to the sort of things we were interested in and adapted his approach accordingly. The highlight for us was the cistern which was incredible, but even a brief stop for traditional Turkish coffee felt like a genuine slice of the real Istanbul. We were collected from our hotel and escorted via the tram to the start of the tour - much appreciated after the previous day being a long day of travelling and landing late into a very strange (to us) city. Some of the attractions were relatively expensive, so given we had a few days to explore, alternatives were suggested, which worked really well for us. Plus some restaurant recommendations also hit the spot. All in all - a definite 5 star tour.
Burak was a wonderful guide! He was super friendly and very informative — he clearly loved his job and it was a genuine joy for him to share the history of Istanbul with us! The variation of things to see was also good, with the blue mosque being a particular highlight. Highly, highly recommend Burak!
Burak was an excellent tour guide. We saw all the main sites. Super nice guy. Very very knowledgeable. The best tour & guide we had in the past 2+ weeks. Thank you!
We had a wonderful day with Burak. He had a deep knowledge of Turkish culture, Istanbul and anything else we needed to know. Excellent English. Generally a lovely fella - and would recommend anyone looking for a guide to use Burak. Excellent !
Burak was a great guide! On time, professional and very knowledgeable. Willing to customize our trip a bit as the Hagia Sofia had a lot of renovations happening inside that affected viewing so we asked if we could skip it, which we did. Because he is a professional guide, at attractions where we had to pay we were able to skip the line which was very helpful. Highly recommend.
Borak was wonderful- his experience and knowledge of the city tour was wonderful. He explained everything and took us to places we would never have known to go to or even known about! Highly recommend this tour and him.
