We had an absolutely wonderful day exploring El Peñol and Guatapé! From the beginning, the company communicated with us in advance, which made everything very easy and hassle-free. Our guide, Nelson, picked us up promptly at the hotel and from the very first moment we felt very comfortable with him. He was super kind, friendly, and very easy to deal with. The trip to El Peñol and Guatapé was very pleasant. We made a stop on the way to have breakfast. The breakfast was very good. Upon arriving at El Peñol, Nelson gave us approximately 80 minutes to buy tickets, climb to the top, enjoy the incredible views, take many photos, and return. It was the perfect amount of time and we never felt rushed. After coming down, we had something to drink and continued toward Guatapé Town, which we found absolutely beautiful. We had some time to explore it on our own and then we met up with Nelson again. He explained even more about the town, showed us beautiful places and some of the prettiest and most colorful baseboards, and he also helped us take photos. He was very patient and made sure that we could enjoy everything calmly. At no point did we feel rushed during the tour. Later we had a rather late lunch, which was very good, and afterwards we enjoyed a very fun and informative boat ride. It was an excellent way to get to know more of the area and learn about its history. The return to Medellín was calm and we arrived without any issues after having enjoyed a fantastic day. We highly recommend this private tour and especially Nelson! He was very kind, knowledgeable, patient, and really made our experience special. The fact that it was a private tour allowed us to enjoy the day at our own pace, and Nelson did an excellent job ensuring that we made the most of our visit. If you are planning to visit Guatapé and El Peñol, we definitely recommend this tour and, if you can, ask for Nelson as a guide. You will not regret it!

The drive to El Peñol and Guatapé was enjoyable, and we made a stop along the way for breakfast, which was very good. At El Peñol, Nelson gave us about 80 minutes to purchase our tickets, climb to the top, enjoy the incredible views, take plenty of pictures, and come back down. It was the perfect amount of time, and we never felt rushed. After the climb, we had something to drink and continued to Guatapé Pueblo, which was absolutely beautiful! We had some time to explore on our own, and then met up with Nelson again. He gave us even more information about the town, showed us beautiful spots and some of the cutest, colorful zócalos, and even took pictures of us. He was so patient and made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy everything. We never felt rushed at any point during the tour. Later, we had a late lunch, which was really good, and then enjoyed a fun and very informative boat ride. It was a great way to see more of the area and learn about its history. The drive back to Medellín was smooth, and we arrived back without any problems after a fantastic day. We highly recommend this private tour, and especially Nelson! He was knowledgeable, personable, patient, and genuinely made the experience special. Having a private tour allowed us to enjoy the day at our own pace, and Nelson did an excellent job of making sure we got the most out of our visit. I have done this tour before three times but always in a group setting. This time we did a private tour and it was wonderful and gave us more flexibility. Our Tour Guide Don Hector was very knowledgeable punctual on time and attentive. Definitely showed us all the great spots and we enjoyed the tour immensely with him. We would recommend the Tour and the Tour guide.

Action packed day. Andres had everything organised so we could have a great day. Climbing the rock one of many highlights. Recommend.

By far the best guide that I have ever had on a private tour. Andres is an absolutely amazing, genuinely down to earth, calm, kind and eager to help guide. We really bonded well with him on this trip - he is extremely knowledgeable about history, culture of medellin/guatape/colombia and just so much fun. The 7-8hrs we spent with him flew by in jiffy. When I am back in Medellin I would definitely book other trips where he is the guide. I definitely recommend him.
