Promenez-vous le long de la rue Bolivar pour découvrir la transition de la ville sous influence républicaine française, reflétée dans son architecture élégante, et visitez le marché 10 de Agosto, plongez dans la culture vibrante en découvrant les fruits, les produits et les traditions locales.
Continuez jusqu'à l'emblématique place San Francisco, le marché aux fleurs et le parc historique Calderón, qui abrite l'impressionnante vieille cathédrale et la nouvelle cathédrale, l'une des plus grandes églises d'Amérique latine, dotée d'un superbe autel à feuilles d'or.
Après le déjeuner dans un restaurant local recommandé par votre guide, visitez El Barranco pour une vue imprenable sur la rivière Tomebamba et ses maisons suspendues. What a great way to spend the day! Wilson , our guide took us to facinating places including a place where they make the famous Panama hat ( it’s actually a Ecuador hat!) . We Saw Cuenca from high above and visited beautiful villages in the mountains then walked around Cuenca’s historic center and visited a few of Cuenca’s 52 churches. Wilson was an excellent guide and spoke perfect English. It felt like a freind showing us his city. He took us to a place that he knew about and had encebollado , a delicious Ecuador soup for lunch and he gave us a great recommendation for a dinner restaurant.
