Last November our "Women Traveller" tour group had the pleasure of spending 8 days and evenings with the most professional yet caring Guide Mr Avraham Toval. His knowledge is better than any encyclopaedia, and walking in the footsteps of Jesus came alive for us, the trip turned out to be an amazing Pilgrimage for us. Avraham's accommodating nature and flexibility took us to spots that were off our itinerary and his great relationships with the locals got us to see things and sites that others might not have access to. His relatability with the group, stories and funny anecdotes coupled with his own brand of humour was very endearing. We are definitely going to get Avraham to guide the next tour group of "Women Traveller".
We spent one week with Avraham seeing all of Israel. It was truly a remarkable experience. He customized a trip on our desires and interests. Each day was filled with history, archaeology, religion, culture and Food! We went off roading in the desert, explored little known sights in the Golan, discovered remains in Caesaria and Acco. We learned about Tel Aviv from its early beginnings to the modern city it is now. We have left Israel but Israel has not left us all thanks to Avraham.
My daughter and I were with Avraham for 4 days. He is very knowledgeable, personable, and has the experience to know the little things that most other tour guides would miss. My daughter has lived in Israel for a year and a half and has been to Masada several times previously with school tours. She said that Avraham was the best guide by far. We walked around Masada for quite a while as he pointed out the differences in each of the Roman camps at the base and how the siege was done. He explained in detail how the water system worked and why the group living there had left Jerusalem. He gave us a lot of information about the dead sea and how much commercial activity goes on. We had lunch at a kibbutz that was off the beaten path. Just a great time
Avraham Tuval was an excellent tour guide. He was kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. My family and I went all over Israel December 2018. Sights included Jerusalem, Masada, Dead Sea, Nazareth, Galilee, Golan Heights. I highly recommend Mr. Tuval. Great experience. Although, I don't recommend in Winter - their rainy season - and it rained and was cold.
Avraham is very knowledgable and made the places that we visited very interesting with lots of facts and details. Private tours are really the way to go and Avraham fulfilled our wishes on our tour together with our family.
I was coming to Israel to tour the Indigo plant and decided to turn it into a destination. My travel agent booked Avraham Tuval to take us around and we got to do it all. We started out with "The Old and the New" showing us Old areas and new - including a graffiti tour. We did the Carmel Coast after getting and understanding of how Israel became a state. We saw Caesarea and Haifa. We did Galilee with a private cooking lesson by a Druze woman in her kitchen. So different and interesting. We did Biblical Jerusalem and understand that Israel is the sacred home of many churches including Greek Orthodox, Catholic, Armenian Muslim and Judaism. It was so amazing we got to witness at Batmizva at the same time a group of Muslim school children were touring. Avraham was not only well educated, but knew where to park and shop... and the driving can be difficult to say the least. He even transferred us to our 2nd hotel in Jerusalem where we saw the markets and finally took a swim in the Dead Sea. We really covered alot, sampling the culture from all perspectives. The tour was custom done for us always accomodating any desired foods or shopping that we wanted to do. I could not imagine even trying to tour Israel without a guide, and soo much better than being on a big tour bus. I highly recommend this way and Avraham in particular. He took us to things that no tour bus could even get too.... Including the Monastary in the side of the mountain next to the Dead Sea - amazing.
