Our private catamaran tour was an amazing way for our family to end the day. The kids loved spotting dolphins and jumping in the water for a swim. The adults enjoyed refreshing drinks and the stunning scenery. The crew was fantastic — so friendly and helpful. We had music playing, took amazing photos, and watched a brilliant sunset over the Pacific. It was both relaxing and exciting. This tour is ideal for families who want quality time and gorgeous views!
We had a great experience on our day with Diogo! We were two families (4 adults, 2 babies 1.5 years) and wanted an easy and comfortable option to see some of the sights in Rio. When Diogo arrived, he made some suggestions for a more baby-friendly day, so we modified things a bit on the spot. Diogo went above and beyond to help us have the best day possible. He is very personable, and knowledgeable about history which suited our group well, and he was great with the kids. He was so helpful in navigating the long lines at Christ the Redeemer and helped capture some beautiful moments of the day on camera. We didn’t see as many things as anticipated but a lot of that was because we were slow with the babies, and our accommodation was a bit further out. We had lunch at Churrascaria Palace, which was delicious! A bit fancier than what we’d normally bring a baby to - everyone was very accommodating and welcoming to the little ones. We would highly recommend booking with Diogo and Way to Know Rio.
Thank you so much sweetie! We are so thrilled to help families with kids to have a great, safe and comfortable custom time in Rio! 🤗 We love it! Diogo sends his love! Best wishes xxx
Tour was great. Lucas, the guide, and Alex, the driver, were very nice and adapted the tour to meet our needs. We had 2 small kids with us and they met every expectation.
We had 2 full days with Carla, one of the tour guides. She was really informative, friendly and spoke perfect English. She was also really good with our kids. The owner of the company was also really helpful and accommodating by switching our tours around at the last minute. I would highly recommend if you’re looking to see Rio
We had a full day tour with amazing tour guide, Lucas. In addition to all the usual sites, Lucas gave us an incredible tour of downtown Rio and all the historical sites that no one visits. He showed us so many 'secret' areas that don't have placques and that tourists would never find on their own. We saw the street where Rio started, the oldest square (still with 17th century buildings still standing), incredible baroque churches, and the old slave market that was recently unearthed during construction for the olympics. We have traveled all over, and this was hands down the best tour I have ever taken. So yes, go visit Sugarloaf and the Redeemer statue. But don't miss this tour with Lucas!
It was two months after our trip to Rio but I didn’t want to stop writing about our beautiful experience because every minute was worth it. From the first contact with Patricia, it was a pleasure to organize our visit, she answered all our doubts very patiently and quickly. On the day of the morning tour Maria José (our guide) and Bernardo (Rio’s best driver) stopped by the hotel in the car with air conditioning and mineral water. We visited the Christ, the Bread, Selarón and many corners of Rio, always enjoying everything Mary Joseph had to tell us, we learned a lot! Rio is really a wonderful city but the tour would not have been the same without the company of the two of them. If you want to know the best of Rio with the best company, we recommend Way to Know Rio with your eyes closed. Thank you very much Patricia, Maria José and Bernardo!
Our experience with WTKR was perfect. The guide we were selected, Wagner, a genius. We cruised and had only one day to visit Rio. He came to pick us up at the port and took us to: Christ the Redeemer, Tijuca park, Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, Sambadrome (where we could enter), Maracana, Sugarloaf. He even gave us some pearlites, such as watching the wing climb or visiting the ceramic staircase. Along the way he explained the buildings and areas we passed through and the history of the city. Wagner is a person who knows a lot about Rio and the world, even lived many years in Argentina. We feel very comfortable and safe all the time and it is certainly the best option to visit Rio in a day. Finally, it took us back to the cruise ship in the agreed time, despite being a complicated city with traffic. It was an unforgettable experience that I recommend without a doubt.
Maravilloso, nos quedamos muy felices, muchas gracias Hernan!
First of all, booking with this company was very easy. Angela was extremely helpful, friendly and very accommodating!! We had Priscylla as our guide and she was by far, one of the very best guides we've ever had!! She figured out exactly what we wanted in a tour and made sure we got it! We did some really spontaneous things on the tour which were perfect for our taste. She was very knowledgeable and so much fun to be with we wished we had two days of touring with her. We had Bernardo as our driver and he was equally wonderful. He was an excellent driver and sort of appeared magically with the car when we were finished with an activity and he was great fun as well. We so enjoyed our day - it felt like we were with special friends that just happened to show us their city! Both of them spoke English perfectly!! I would recommend this company for all of your tour needs in Rio! We thank them sincerely for a great tour. Jackie and John
We had an amazing time with Alejandro and Bernardo who were both lovely and kind! Even though we didn't manage to visit Sugarloaf as it was closed for maintenance, we had a fruitful and interesting day visiting rio downtown, Cristo redeemer and Vidigal. We learnt a lot about Rio and Alejandro and Bernardo were both super helpful and gave us advice on what to do in Rio whenever they could! TLDR: WE HAD A LOT OF FUN!
