Notre premier arrêt est Stonehenge, où vous remonterez 5 000 ans en arrière jusqu'à la Grande-Bretagne préhistorique pendant que notre guide vous aide à donner vie à l'histoire de ce monument fascinant. Qui a construit Stonehenge ? Pourquoi a-t-il été construit ? Découvrez la réponse à ces questions et le lien fascinant du monument avec les solstices d’été et d’hiver. Rencontrez un homme de 5 500 ans et visitez le centre d'exposition de classe mondiale, avec 250 objets anciens exposés.
Vous pouvez déjeuner au château de Windsor. Le château propose plusieurs options de restauration aux visiteurs. Le choix le plus populaire est le Undercroft Café, situé dans le sous-sol médiéval du château. Il sert une variété de plats chauds et froids, de collations et de boissons. Le Café offre un cadre cosy et historique pour un repas. De plus, il existe d'autres restaurants et restaurants dans la ville voisine de Windsor, où vous pouvez trouver un plus large éventail d'options de restauration en fonction de vos préférences. Le château de Windsor, demeure ancestrale de la famille royale britannique depuis plus de 900 ans et le plus grand château continuellement occupé d'Europe. Émerveillez-vous devant la splendeur des State Apartments, les plus grands appartements d'Angleterre, où des peintures de Van Dyck et Rubens sont suspendues aux murs et où les plafonds sont peints de magnifiques peintures murales élaborées. Située dans l'enceinte du château de Windsor, la chapelle Saint-Georges est l'un des plus beaux exemples d'architecture gothique d'Angleterre. La construction de la chapelle actuelle commença en 1475 sous le règne d'Édouard IV. Lors de votre visite, n'oubliez pas de lever les yeux et d'admirer le plafond en pierre, ajouté par Henri VII. La chapelle a été le lieu de nombreux mariages royaux, dont TRH le comte et la comtesse de Wessex, le duc et la duchesse de Sussex, ainsi que SAR la princesse Eugénie et M. Jack Brooksbank. Dans la chapelle se trouvent les tombeaux de 11 monarques, dont la reine Elizabeth II, George VI, Henri VIII et Charles Ier.

Mell is an excellent tour guide with his impressive Victorian style dressing especially the hat and empathic and clear communication style , he comes out as quite appealing . Amazing trip and hats off to such people who are quite dedicated to their work .
I am so glad I booked this tour! The Windsor Castle tour was beautiful but the inner Stonehenge visit was breathtaking. My family loved it! We had beautiful weather and it was worth every penny. Our family of 10 caught the early morning Stonehenge tour & noon Windsor Castle tour. Angela Z was a great tour guide ! She provided insight to all the places visited while still allowing us time to roam and experience the grounds on our own. My family thoroughly enjoyed our trip and tour to both Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Arthur was an excellent bus driver, safely navigating us thru the narrow London streets and on the Motorways. And Robert was a very charismatic guide who was extremely knowledgeable with British history with also little tidbits of pop culture thrown in too. I would highly recommend their tour!
