Michael was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide for our two day private trip in Xi’An. The car provided was very nice and clean and the driver Mr.Ma was also very thoughtful. They were both so accomodating in tailoring the trip for our interests. It was such a comfortable way to see all the amazing sights the city has to offer.
This is a comprehensive tour of Xian China. Most of the major attractions are included. Our guide, Judy, and driver were fantastic. They are local to Xian and provided great historical information at each location. My husband has some mobility issues and they were wonderful about working with a comfortable pace and avoiding steep stairways. We were nervous about the language barrier in China but Judy was great with guiding us to restaurants and with some souvenir shopping. I so happy I booked this tour. It really made our visit a memorable experience. I highly recommend them.
Cathy was our tour guide for the 2 days Xi’an tour. She was very knowledgeable and provided us with detailed history of every place we went. She was nice. The driver was good too. We had a great experience. Thank you Cathy.
We really enjoyed the tour with Michael. He was very informative, but also easy to talk to about any questions we had on lots of topics. The restaurants he took us to for lunch were some of the best food we have had in China so far on our holiday. Very much recommend this tour.
A great trip ! Cathy is very knowledgeable and patient with the kids! We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this tour!
We have booked a two-day tour with this travel company. We arrived in Xi’an by train and the driver Mr. Wang was on time to pick us up and take us to the hotel. The next day our two-day tour started with a knowledgeable guide Mr. Jackie, who is also very friendly and very helpful. The museum of the terracotta army is definitely the highlight of our tour in Xi’an. We recommend this tour operator for anyone who wants to visit Xi’an.
We travelled with 4 children and Shine (Our Tour Guide) was amazing. She was patience and kind and very accommodating and shared some wonderful insights and histories with us. We enjoyed our Xian experience and hihgly recommend this Tour.
We book a two days Heritage Private Tour from 12-13 June 2024 with Lily’s Travel. Communications with Lily was pleasant via WeChat the moment we arrived at Xi’an the day before the tour. Our guide for the two days tour was Michael Chang. Michael is well-versed in the history of Xi’an and shared with us many interesting facts of the places we visited, as well as the history of the various dynasties that made Xi’an their capital. The temperature of our two days tour were at 40 over degrees but Michael was able to cover all the places of interests and plan the travel so that we were able to be well rested in between and not be affected too much due to the heat. Michael also went over and above by adding on the itinerary such as letting us experience the morning market of the local people along our way to view the City Walls…. and bringing us to the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City on the 2nd day of our tour. Overall, we are very delighted with Michael as our guide, as well as being thankful to the great driving skills of Mr. Ma, our driver for keeping us safe during the course of our two days tour. They made our trip to Xi’an a really memorable and happy travel. Highly recommend booking Lily’s Private Travel for their high level of service!
Michael and our driver Mr Wong were great. Michael English was very good. He gave us lots of tips on where to eat and what to do around our hotel. We were travelling around China for a bit and Michael gave us information on them as well. We were told 2 days in Xi’an would be enough. We had 3 and wish we had added another day. So I would recommend 4 nights and do this 2 full on days in between. There was so much to take in and Michael was full of information. One of my favourite places in China. It was great not having to work out where to get lunch as well. Had 2 nice lunches. This tour is a must in Xi’an. Another bonus was both men didn’t smoke which isn’t like most Chinese.
We had Cathy as our tour guide for 2 days in Xi’An. She was really patient with telling us stories on ancient Chinese history and how Xi’an was an important capital city for many dynasties. She also recommended us some really good local cuisines over the 2 days. We had a really good time overall!
