Lors de cette visite de 6 à 7 heures, visitez la cathédrale mère Echmiadzine (de l'extérieur), la principale cathédrale de l'Église apostolique arménienne et est la toute première cathédrale chrétienne au monde. Il est classé parmi les sites du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Voir également l'église de St. Gayane et St. Hripsime, qui font partie des trois églises d'Echmiadzine dédiées aux martyrs chrétiennes évadées de Rome avec leur abbesse Gayane. Les deux sont classés parmi les sites du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Le dernier arrêt est Zvartnots, le temple médiéval de Saint-Grégoire construit au 7ème siècle. C'était l'un des bâtiments les plus hauts de l'époque (45-49m). Aujourd'hui, les ruines du temple sont visibles à Zvartnots. Il est classé parmi les sites du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Visitez le complexe sculptural commémoratif de Sardarapat et les musées ethnographiques et militaires.

Ce complexe sculptural commémoratif est construit dans la vallée ensoleillée d’Ararat. Par des allégories, il représente la bataille arméno-turque de 1918 et glorifie la brillante victoire du peuple arménien. Près de l'entrée du complexe se trouvent deux énormes taureaux ailés symbolisant la persistance de la nation arménienne. La ruelle bordée de cinq aigles mène au musée d'ethnographie qui abrite une riche exposition sur la culture, les métiers et l'artisanat arméniens.

We spent an interesting morning accompanied by our driver Gregory and with Mariana our guide. We went through much of the history of Christianity in Armenia with good explanations and knowing beautiful buildings.

Today is my first day in Yerevan, Armenia with a lovely guide tour, Meline and cool driver, Artur. We went to Voskeni wine, I really love Rose wine here (actually the best ever) and then we had a nice Gata class making in the restaurant closed to Maternal catheter which is delicious as well the lunch. After lunch, we were visited the churches all around and then back to hotel. So, thank you Meline, Artur and Hyur tour.

I was on a private tour with guide Tamara and driver Arthur to Sardarapat and Zvartnots on the first day and with Tamara and Vache to Gjumri on the second day. The weather was just perfect and Tamara did a terrific job in showing me around and telling me all about the history of Armenia and the places we visited! Our drivers were very polite and took us safely to our drop off and pick up points, we even stopped several times to take pictures on the way. Tamara made sure I felt completely comfortable and never rushed me so I could take as many pictures as I liked! I can strongly recommend to book your tours with a guide and driver from Hyur tours - I have done many trips with them and was never disappointed!

There were two tours. With guide Anna and Rose. Both are great. Unusual, interesting storytelling. The drivers are both great, too.

Took a private tour with Elizabeth (guide) and Gregory (driver) to visit multiple historic sites on the way to lake saven. Elizabeth was excellent- explained all the cultural and historic contexts and made the trip the best day of our week in Armenia
