This was an awesome tour except for one thing. I’ll start with the good: Loved our driver Fazeel and our safari driver also, both were great. Fazeel was super nice and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions and giving us great information about the culture. He confirmed our departure time with the hotel the day prior and showed up ten minutes early. His driving skills were also great, and he worked really hard to meet our needs along the way. The three sites are amazing. We really enjoyed all three and they are the biggest highlights of our trip so far. Now the thing I’m knocking off two stars for: the tour started out with a stop at an “herb garden” which turned out to be a one-hour sales pitch for (extremely overpriced) Ayurveda products. And which of course is not listed on the itinerary. This would have been annoying, but fine, if it was 15 minutes. It was literally an hour and included being pressured into a 10-15 minute free massage that you’re of course expected to tip for—which I did not partake in but my companions did. I should have dipped out 10 minutes in and just told the person giving us the presentation we wanted to be on our way. That’s what I’ll do next time and what I would recommend others do unless you really want someone to walk you to each plant and list off the different conditions the plant helps with and what product they sell containing that product. Better yet just tell your driver you want to skip it. The time spent here also contributed to us being behind schedule and rushed the rest of the day. Honestly I’m still seething at wasting time somewhere I didn’t ask to be and didn’t want to be that could have been spent at the sites I paid to see. If the rest of the tour wasn’t amazing I’d be giving one star. Everything else was amazing though and I’d still recommend it with that caveat.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the safari and the three sites, and that our driver Fazeel and safari driver provided excellent service and valuable insights throughout your trip. We truly appreciate your kind words about their professionalism and dedication. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the extended stop at the herb garden. Our drivers are trained to take guests to both major and additional places, always with the guest’s willingness and comfort in mind. Clearly, in this case, we fell short, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will address it to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Thank you again for your feedback. We hope to welcome you back for an even better experience in the future.
We had a brilliant day with Fazeel, he made sure everything went smoothly and after torrential rain he checked it was safe for us to climb Sirigirya rock. He gave us loads of helpful information and was a very kind person. The safari guide also went out of his way to ensure we saw elephants despite the weather.
Fazeel was an excellent guide who looked after us for 12 hours! He was very helpful, chatty. patient and we had a wonderful day with him. Do climb the Lion Rock - even in the rain it only takes 30 minutes. He took us to an excellent buffet lunch and was a careful and considerate driver
We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Sigiriya and Minneriya National Park to see the elephants. We also were lucky enough to see a ceremony at a Hindu temple which was a bonus. Our guide Indika was excellent - friendly, full of great information and very accommodating. We recommend this tour.
Great day visiting national park and then Sigariya. Large herd of elephants including several babies came almost within touching distance so very special experience. And Siga lions rock an amazing place - pretty hard work getting up the 1200 stairs to see the remains of the palace but made it with some help from guide.
Don't book this tour they won't pick you up , believing them you would waste a day tour program ... They don't pick up your call ... Just waste of time and your money I'll be gone

We had a wonderful day with a excellent guide Fazeel. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend him. Safari was amazing, same goes with Sigiriya- once on top, the views are amazing. Dambulla- amazing Temple.
We had a great day. Fazeel picked us up promptly and drove us first to the National Park. We beat the crowds and saw so many elephants, including babies only a few days old. After a pretty strenuous climb up to the summit of Sigiriya we were rewarded with an amazing view of this incredible site. Lastly we enjoyed the cave temple. It was a very full and interesting day and Fazeel an amazing and informative guide
Fazeel was in charge of us. Fazeel first took me to the Spice and Herb Garden. I didn't buy anything, but it was very interesting. Then in the morning we immediately went to Minnellia National Park. Guide books recommended going in the evening was the best, but I was rather lucky to go in the morning and almost no other Jeeps came. I was worried because I saw online that I wouldn't be able to see many elephants in the morning, but as it turned out, taking them in the morning was the best choice. Incredibly large herds of elephants, monkeys, birds, big shrouds? I was able to meet various animals such as Next, they took me to Sigiriya Rock, where I climbed for two hours. I was offered a buffet style lunch, but after climbing in high temperatures and humidity, I didn't have much appetite and selfishly changed to an a la carte style. That pushed our schedule to the last minute of Dambulla closing time, and Fazeel rushed us down the road and managed to see the cave temples. I am so sorry to Fazeel for so much selfishness. He always responded with a smile and had a great day. We also didn’t have a very firm idea of what to do after the next day, but we had a lot of conversations along the way and they were very helpful in terms of what we were doing outside the tour. Thank you very much.
Lovely safari around sigiryia national park arranged for us with our own jeep by our private tour guide. It was a very bumpy journey through the park where we experienced the sight of animals in their own habitat, wandering around the park in peace, it was lovely to see
