Ghibli visit
Wonderful museo. We were two groups; our family and two men, friends together.
The guide was in trouble with the two, they were late, in the wrong place, didn’t read the instructions. I felt pity for the guide, and of course it was disturbing for us, too.
There is always people, who doesn’t care. And in the end, we were ready to go in, the other man had to go the toilet… just like a little child.
Of course, nothing can be done… I think, that your instructions were very clear and easy to follow.
Thank you for the nice guide and your company to give us a chance to get in fully booked Ghibli museum!

Not a private tour
This is not a private tour. The person met us at bus stop travelled by bus and got us into the museum. There was no tour. The museum was great. I know it's difficult to get tickets so I was pleased to ensure I had tickets but don't call it a tour

The Ghibli Museum, Mitaka has a very clear philosophy about how visitors experience the museum.
Its concept includes ideas such as “Let’s get lost together” and “See with your own eyes and feel with your own heart.”
For this reason, the museum intentionally does not provide fixed routes or detailed explanatory panels, and photography inside the museum is prohibited for the same reason.
In line with this philosophy, there is no official guided explanation inside the museum.
After entering, guests are encouraged to explore freely at their own pace and enjoy the space in their own way.
Our service supports this experience without interfering with it by arranging extremely difficult-to-obtain tickets, providing meeting and transportation assistance, and helping ensure smooth entry to the museum.
We understand that the word “tour” may create certain expectations, and your feedback is sincerely appreciated.

Nice guide, small museum, for die hard fan only !
Our guide was very nice and patient and of course polite. He took us to the bus station, payed for it, took picture for us in front of Totoro and then took us inside the museum... 5 star for him !
Now about the museum, mind that the ticket price is 1000 yen. The pre order system makebit hard for foreign people, so 100euros for a 5 euro ticket is... well a lot. Inside the museum you'll find 3 interesting room plus an event room. 1 is about animation technique, it's very interesting ( it was actually my favorite and was worth the price for me ) but it's like a 10 min stop. Then go up to visit a reproduction of Miyasaki workplace, with a lot of drawing and storyboard. Then a nekobus for kids to play with.... and that's it. 2 little shop, a cafe outside and on the rooftop you can take picture with the giant robot from Laputa.
If you are a die hard fan of Ghibli, 100 is ok. If you just barely know the name, i would encourage you to find cheaper ticket or manage to grab some 1month before ( released the ten of each month for the next month...)

Smooth process.
Went very smoothly. Guide brought us to the bus to go to the entrance. Bus tickets and tickets for the museum were all included. No hassles. Answered all of our questions and was very helpful.
