En fonction de la météo et de la période de l’année, nous pouvons simplement traverser la baie de Kalk sans nous arrêter, ou parfois nous arrêter dans un café pour prendre un café ou prendre un poisson et des frites à emporter pour le déjeuner au port.
Nous traversons Simon's Town afin de visiter la colonie de pingouins de Boulders Beach. Cependant, certains jours, nous pouvons visiter Jubilee Square et la statue Just Nuisance les jours où nous déjeunons dans un restaurant de Simon's Town.
Nous visitons les principaux ponts d'observation de la colonie de pingouins de Boulders Beach dans le parc national de la Montagne de la Table, où quelques milliers de pingouins d'Afrique se sentent chez eux. Vous ferez une promenade le long de Willis. Vous pourrez faire une promenade jusqu’à la plage de baignade principale. En été, la baignade est magnifique!
Nous nous rendons dans la section du parc national de la Montagne de la Table du cap de Bonne-Espérance en direction de Cape Point, où se trouvent les phares. Nous allons marcher vers les sites d'observation et éventuellement sur le sentier des gardiens de phare pour obtenir un angle différent si vous souhaitez vous promener. Si nous ne marchons pas jusqu'aux phares, nous pouvons marcher sur la plage de Diaz, puis nous vous laisserons continuer vers le cap de Bonne-Espérance (45 minutes) en même temps que nous conduirons pour vous chercher au point final.
Bien que nous parlions du Cap de Bonne-Espérance, nous nous dirigerons vers différents sites de la section Cape of Good Hope du parc national de la montagne de la Table. Nous rechercherons une faune plus grande ici, comme Bontebok, Eland, Babouas Chacma et Autruches, entre autres.
Cette route est un classique! Nous allons généralement traverser Chapman's Peak Drive en revenant du Cap après une journée sur la péninsule du Cap, où la vue sur la plage de Noordhoek et sur Hout Bay est à couper le souffle!

Mark has a wealth of knowledge and is a world-renowned conservationist; if I had more time, I would have done as many tours with him as possible! I cannot recommend this tour enough.
Very good experience. Got to see the penguins, which was nice. A lot of time on the Cape guide was very knowledgeable about plants and animals in the area which added a nice dimension.

I loved to walk with Mark, one of the owners of this special family business. We hiked the Lion’s Head early in the morning and he knows everything about hike and nature. We walked all around the mountain and saw all the views of Cape Town, during the hike. It’s was so amazing and lovely. Everybody has to hike this mountain. Mark took us to see the penguins and then for a walk along the shipwreck trail. The penguins are a must. The beach walk is beautiful and was totally deserted other than lots of interesting birds. Mark is a top class guide having worked in conservation and national parks for many years. He is also excellent company. Thoroughly recommended.

Mark is a great tour guide! It's so wonderful to have a private guide who's flexible and who notes what your passions are so they can customize your day. That's exactly how it was with Mark! We were on track to do all the standard Cape Peninsula activities until he recognized our sense of adventure and desire to avoid crowds. It was a nice, comfortable tour that allowed us to view all the beautiful highlights of the Cape Peninsula!
Did two day tours with Mark - no trekking as fitness not up to it at the moment! Had a lovely time, it's wonderful to be taken around beautiful Cape Town with a local who is passionate about their city. We covered so much including all the must sees! However as a marine biologist it was also great to be with a fellow conservationist who could tell me all about all the flora and fauna and not just the usual bog standard tour blurb (he did cover all that too though if that's what you want!) And as a solo traveller it's brilliant to find someone willing to take you on a private, custom made tour at a reasonable price. Thanks to Mark for putting up with me and to Lindsay for organising everything.
