Nous sommes en plein cœur de la ville ; en face se trouve la boutique Ferragamo, au centre la Piazza Santa Trinita, et à gauche la basilique gothique du même nom ornée de fresques du XVe siècle. On peut également apercevoir tous les ponts de la ville.
Piazza Ognissanti et visite libre de l'église d'Ognissanti où sont enterrés le peintre Sandro Botticelli, né dans ce quartier, et Carolina Bonaparte, sœur de Napoléon Bonaparte. L'église est également connue pour ses célèbres fresques de Domenico Ghirlandaio et de Botticelli lui-même. L'œuvre la plus importante de l'église est sans aucun doute le crucifix de Giotto, plus connu sous le nom de crucifix de la Toussaint.

Nous traversons le pont Santa Trinità ; d'ici, vous pouvez apercevoir le Ponte Vecchio, symbole de la ville de Florence. Description historique avec audioguide.
Une fontaine unique à trois niveaux se trouve sur le chemin reliant la Piazzale Michelangelo à l'église San Miniato al Monte. Ne manquez pas cette magnifique fontaine au coucher du soleil.
L'abbaye des frères bénédictins, construite entre 1013 et 1018, est la plus ancienne église de Florence de style roman florentin. Une curiosité amusante : l'auteur du livre Pinocchio, Carlo Lorenzini da Collodi, y est enterré.
La porte de San Miniato fut construite en 1320 par Arnolfo di Cambio sur la route reliant la ville à la colline où se dresse le complexe religieux de San Miniato.
Nous arrivons à la Piazzale Michelangelo, où vous pourrez profiter d'une vue unique. Vous pourrez admirer toute la ville de Florence vue d'en haut, avec ses beautés : le Ponte Vecchio, le Duomo, la Piazza Signoria et bien d'autres encore.

The driver was very informed about the city, accommodating to our needs, helpful in getting great family photos and covered all the highlights of Florence.
The time was incorrect and the tour started a half hour later than expected
Those who book this experience save themselves a lot of walking! Since I only had 2 days, it was exactly the right choice. The advantage was also that I was the only participant, which was absolutely fantastic. All the stops at many sights were beautiful, and the view of Florence from Piazzale Michelangelo was amazing! 👍💯 Overall, it was an interesting, historical tour that I can recommend to anyone who doesn't have much time or doesn't want to walk a lot. The inclines are not easy either! The driver and my tour guide were nice, explained everything well, and answered questions. Thank you very much.
We had a wonderful golf cart tour with Simone. All of our family including kids ages 10-17 enjoyed the drive. He provided great context for our stops, and we got out to see a variety of churches and beautiful overlooks. This was one of the highlights of our time in Florence. The golf carts have seats for 5 passengers plus driver.
That using the map from Viator puts you at wrong location. It is synched to wrong location for pickup. The gentleman that gave us our tour was excellent he found us and came to us and then explained all the sites very well. Got azing photos
What a treat! Fantastic guide Simone - so friendly, knowledgeable & fun - nothing was too much trouble for him. We got to see a part of Florence which we’d have never done on foot. Highly recommend!!
Great experience seeing the city highlights...Michelangelo square and the most beautiful photo spit for Florence. Simone was wonderful as a guide. These private tours are the best!!
The tour was cancelled a few hours before the start on short notice, referring to orders of the city of Florence - we were then asked to cancel - why actually us?

The golf cart tour is a perfect way to see Florence on a hot day. We loved listening to all the history fact and Freddy, the guide, took his time to answer all the questions we had. He paused whenever we needed him to and took pictures of our group. This was a very positive experience.
