Glyfada est une banlieue du sud d'Athènes située sur la Riviera d'Athènes. Il est situé dans les parties sud de la zone urbaine d'Athènes. La zone s'étend du pied de la montagne Hymettus au golfe Saronique. C'est la plus grande banlieue sud d'Athènes.
Voula est une banlieue sud d'Athènes.
Vouliagmeni est une banlieue balnéaire et une ancienne municipalité à 20 km au sud du centre-ville d'Athènes.
Varkiza, également Alianthos, est une banlieue du grand Athènes faisant partie de la municipalité de Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni dans le sud de l'Attique
Anavyssos est une ville et une ancienne municipalité de l'Attique de l'Est.
Le cap Sounion est le promontoire situé à l'extrémité sud de la péninsule attique, à 8 kilomètres au sud de la ville de Lavrio (ancien Thoricus) et à 70 kilomètres au sud-est d'Athènes. Il fait partie de la municipalité de Lavreotiki, dans l'est de l'Attique. Il est à 59,6 km d'Athènes. Le cap Sounion est connu pour son temple de Poséidon, l'un des principaux monuments de l'âge d'or d'Athènes. Ses vestiges sont perchés sur le promontoire, entourés sur trois côtés par la mer.
L'ancien temple grec de Poséidon au cap Sounion, construit entre 444 et 440 avant JC, est l'un des principaux monuments de l'âge d'or d'Athènes. Un temple dorique, surplombe la mer au bout du cap Sounion, à une hauteur de près de 60 mètres (200 pieds).
Si l'option "Sans nourriture" est sélectionnée, lors de notre retour dans la ville d'Athènes, nous nous arrêterons dans l'un des endroits les plus idylliques. Le lac Vouliagmeni, au cœur de la Riviera athénienne, est le trésor caché de la nature de l'Attique. Le lac Vouliagmeni (« Sunken Lake ») est un petit lac d'eau saumâtre alimenté par des courants souterrains s'infiltrant à travers la masse du mont Hymette situé au sud de Vouliagmeni.
Si l'option "Avec cuisine grecque traditionnelle" est sélectionnée, nous nous arrêterons dans une taverne en bord de mer près de la ville côtière d'Anavyssos pour déguster une cuisine grecque authentique et des plats traditionnels.

Fantastic trip. Our driver was knowledgeable putting out things and giving information as we drove the 1 1/2 hours from the port to the temple. Be sure to arrive before sunset as the views are spectacular. Be forewarned that it gets cold and windy very quickly at sunset. We traveled 4/28. We opted for the Greek dinner. The owner was friendly and the food good. You had your choice of any items on the menu plus beer or wine. This trip was our one splurge and worth it.

Great trip to Sounion. We very much enjoyed the company of Mike who was a very entertaining and competent driver. We loved his sense of humor and knowledge and his good stories. He offered us a good suggestion for a meal on the way as well. We highly recommend him.

This was great. Nick was a great guide. The car was a comfortable Mercedes van. We loved Cape Sounio - it was a stunning place to visit. And we opted for lunch on our way home, which was a delicious seafood meal on the water.

Dimitri picked us up at the port in Athens as we were on a cruise. Pickup went smoothly as he was right at the entrance as I had been advised via WhatsApp. When we asked for an English speaking tour guide we hoped for, but did not expect such easy communication. It was a fantastic trip that I would urge anyone to try. For added incentive, Dimitri stopped on the way back to Athens at a restaurant right on the Adriatic Sea where we had an authentic Greek meal. We all enjoyed our day with Dimitri!

This tour met my expectations and exceeded them! George was a bit early for our pickup time but we were ready and it was good to get on the road early (9:30) to beat some of the tourist busses. George was a delightful man, livening in Athens all of his life, so he was very knowledgeable about the island all of the questions we asked. George provided water and WiFi for the trip. Our first stop was a beautiful lookout at a swimming lake in Vouliagmeni,just a quick stop to stretch our legs and admire the beautiful view. Then it was on to the Temple of Poseidon. George told us how this was a strategic spot for the ancient Athenians to use as a lookout for enemy attack boats. The ruins perched on the edge of the water just blew me away, it was stunning. After our visit, George took us to a lovely seaside restaurant owned by 4 brothers, 2 worked in the restaurant and the other 2 were the fisherman. We were please with the table and view and we also avoided a few large groups! Our meal was outstanding. We listened to the waiter’s recommendations and we were very pleased. Our friends had the Sea Grill which was cooked and then filleted tableside and I had the Mussels Saganaki,Greek salad, beetroot salad and of course some Mythos, a Greek beer. Perfect spot for lunch with amazing food. Then back on to our hotel in Athens. We all wholeheartedly said that this booking was a Grand Slam and highly recommend it.
