Une forteresse datant du XVIIIe siècle a été transformée en ghetto juif et en prison politique nazie lors de la Seconde Guerre mondiale - expérimentez-la et apprenez-en plus sur une triste véritable partie de l'histoire européenne qui a influencé le monde entier. Le camp de concentration de Terezin est stratégiquement proche de Prague (45-60 min en voiture). Vous apprendrez l'histoire de la Seconde Guerre mondiale - la différence entre la concentration et le camp de la mort, la psychologie de la propagande nazie cachant la vérité au reste du monde, la prison politique de la Gestapo, les histoires personnelles individuelles, la vie et la culture dans le ghetto juif. La ville est divisée en deux parties : ancienne prison politique de la Gestapo (plus tard prison communiste) et ghetto juif présenté comme « une ville donnée aux Juifs par Adolf Hitler pour le temps de guerre ». Vous verrez l'ancienne prison de la Gestapo, le Musée juif du ghetto, un dortoir juif, la caserne de Magdebourg (Musée de la culture dans le ghetto) et plus encore. Après cela, vous dégusterez un déjeuner tchèque dans une brasserie locale (inclus).

Votre guide privé et votre chauffeur viendront vous chercher à votre place de Prague et après 45-60 min de route confortable, vous atteignez le camp de concentration de Terezin. Il est stratégiquement proche de Prague. Tout d'abord, vous serez guidé à travers la petite forteresse de Terezin qui était une prison politique de la gestapo (plus tard une prison communiste) - les cellules de la prison, les douches et marcher dans les tunnels de la forteresse. Regardez le film de propagande sur le « paradis juif » - fausse présentation par des nazis en comparaison de la réalité cruelle dans le camp.
Après la visite de Musée de l'ancien ghetto juif (matériaux, vidéos d'histoires individuelles de personnes vivant dans le ghetto), vous serez guidé à travers le ghetto juif pour découvrir plus de la vie dans le ghetto. Veuillez noter : le crématorium, le columbarium et les salles de cérémonie sont fermés le samedi.
La culture en camp de concentration fait de l'ancien ghetto de Terezin un lieu de contrastes marqués. Dans cette caserne (ancien siège du conseil administratif juif), vous vous initiez à différents domaines de la culture (musique, graphisme, littérature, théâtre), rencontriez des auteurs individuels et voyiez une maquette de dortoirs. En cas d'intérêt (facultatif) nous visitons crématorium, columbarium (ancien stockage des cendres), morgue et salles de cérémonie (toutes celles-ci sont fermées le samedi). Ensuite, vous dégusterez un délicieux déjeuner tchèque dans une brasserie locale (inclus).

I can't say enough wonderful things about this tour. Michal was an absolute delight We were traveling with 80 year old parents with limited mobility and Michal was amazing about making sure they enjoyed the tour as much as we did. Tour is completely private which is nice as he catered the tour to our wants. He is so knowledgeable of Terezin and WWII. He took us to a local town for lunch where we enjoyed a traditional Czeck lunch, which was delicious. If you are wanting to visit the Terezin memorial, don't hesitate to book this tour. It is nice to see the memorial in a more intimate way versus a 40 person bus tour with a speaker to your ear. It was the best tour we did in our 2 week trip in Europe.
It was a great experience and we learnt a lot about Terezin and its history, our tour guide Michal was excellent and he explained us every thing what we needed to know about the place and showed us the most important parts of Terezin
This was an amazing tour! It lived up to all our expectations. Michal was an excellent tour guide and was able to get into much detail about the daily lives of those who suffered this terrible nightmare. I highly recommend Michael for any future tours. You will not be disappointed.
Michal guided us (a German and a Frenchwoman) through Theresienstadt. He empathically imparted his vast historical and cultural knowledge to us and sensitively accompanied us on this historically difficult walk. This was by far (!!) the best private tour we ever had. Also: it couldn't be easier, hotel pickup, comfortable, well-kept, large car, drinks on board and a nice lunch.

Michael was amazing! So personable and genuine, it was like taking a day trip with a friend. We all loved him! He is laid back and let's you govern the day you want. We wanted to sleep in some so we went later in the day. Although the tour is a solemn one, we all really enjoyed it! He is very knowledgeable about the subject, picked a wonderful place for lunch, and the transportation there was very comfy. THANKS MICHAEL!!
I had assumed that I would be on a bus with 20 people. Instead it turned out to be a private tour for an extremely reasonable price. Michal was very knowledgeable, had grown up locally, and provided me with a glimpse into Czech life on the way to Terezin. Once we got there, he provided an exceptional tour in the areas that was allowed, and then found me a private tour guide in the areas that were restricted. He tailored the tour to my knowledge and interests. After, he took me to a nearby town for an Czech lunch fit for local culture. All in all this was one of the best tours I have had.
