If you are looking for a top-caliber guide to truly unlock the magic of Egypt, you absolutely must book with Hazem. We took a tour of the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx with him, and it was hands-down the highlight of our time in Cairo. Hazem doesn't just recite cold facts or dates; he narrates the ancient world in a brilliant, story-like fashion that brings the deep history behind these monumental structures completely to life. He made every single moment of the tour incredibly captivating and interesting. His profound subject-matter knowledge shines through effortlessly—which makes total sense when you learn that he studied Egyptology for over four years and that this is his genuine, lifelong passion. What we appreciated most was how patient and accommodating he was. Hazem was incredibly flexible with his time, never once rushing us through a photo spot or an exhibit, and he took the time to thoughtfully answer our massive stream of questions. I strongly recommend Hazem to anyone traveling to Cairo and Egypt who wants to experience these ancient wonders alongside a true professional. He is an exceptional, top-tier guide!
I booked this tour during a long layover in Cairo, and it turned into one of the most memorable parts of my trip. I initially ran into some issues at immigration, but my tour guide waited patiently outside the airport until everything was resolved, which immediately made me feel taken care of and less stressed. Hazen was my private guide, and he was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming throughout the entire experience. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely at ease and safe the whole time. The tour was very well organized, with a private driver and comfortable transportation between each location, and every stop was thoughtfully explained with historical and cultural insight. The experience exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairo, especially travelers with a long layover who want to make the most of their time.
I was stressed about the timing but They managed it well The guide was super nice Had an amazing time
This personal tour was AMAZING! We had a 9 1/2 hour layover in Cairo, but our plane landed 45 minutes late. The guide arranged for a very speedy exit through customs &immigration. Re adjusted our original itinerary so that we still had a tasty rooftop meal overlooking the pyramids, followed by a boat tour on the Nile River, and returned us in time for our flight home. We strongly recommend this service.
I had only a few hours during a flight connection and wanted to make the most of it: Hazem has been a perfect guide around the Giza area. His knowledge covers both Egyptian history, cultural specifics, and perfect photo spots to meet all your requests. He's also super friendly and with the right touch of humor that makes your trip more than just a visit. When I plan my next trip to Cairo for a more complete experience of archaeological sites, Coptic Cairo, Islamic Cairo and modern city, I'll definitely contact Hazem again!
I was not sure what to expect, but I wanted things to be smooth and easy while visiting the pyramids of Giza. This tour was perfect. I got plenty of time to take the sites. Getting to go into the pyramid, while costing extra was still an easy process. The ride from hotel to the pyramids was very convenient and my tour guide Zizou was great. You can tell he's had a lot of experience touring people to the sites and he was very knowledgeable.
Learning to spell out my name in hieroglyphs was just one of the facts I learned from Zanaty Mohamed Zizou my excellent guide on a half day visit to the Sphinx and Pyramids during a layover at Cairo Airport. Even before we met up, Zizou’s precise WhatsAp instructions led me to the lobby of the Le Meridian Hotel where efficient driver Mahmoud collected me and pointed out local sights as we drove to meet Zizou. A scholar of Egyptian language and history, Zizou’s commentary on legends about the pyramids and temples added fascinating information and context about the sights. At the museum, an extra stop, he led me to the highlights and explained customs behind the regalia and positioning of the ancient statues – he could read the ancient inscriptions on the tombs. We concluded with a delicious buffet lunch of traditional foods on a riverboat overlooking little boats bobbing by on the Nile. As an extra benefit, he helped me straighten out logistics of my travel plans before the vigilant Mahmoud drove me back to the airport with a new expanded understanding and appreciation of Egyptian history and lore.
A fabulous day with Mohamed Gomaa (our guide) and Ihab (driver). Mohamed combines his in depth knowledge with a wonderful sense of humour, engaging the adults and our 6 year old. From booking, to airport pick up, visiting the museum and bazaar, followed by the pyramids, fabulous camel ride and the sphinx, everything was smooth, organised, unrushed. The lunch was lovely and suitable for vegetarians This has been a lovely day, the highlight of our visit to Egypt.
My mum in law had a short layover on her way to Cyprus. Mohamed Gomaa really took care of providing an amazing experience. She really enjoyed!!
If you have a layover in Cairo, it is the perfect chance to grab so as to get into touch with the ancient Egyptian civilization.
