Helen was our guide and I am beyond grateful for her knowledge and preparation for this tour. Her passion to learn English and further communicate the realities of Vietnam hit my heart. For those who want a deep tour, I cannot recommend this any more.
Great tour of the tunnels. Our guide, Jason, spoke great english and was really knowledgable. He took us away from the tourist crowds so we were able to get into tunnels easily and really brought the place alive with his stories and information. The driver made us feel safe, yet made the journey as quick as possible. Would highly recommend if you want to learn more about the war.
One day tour of tunnels....underwhelming experience. Whipped along like livestock all day, no break for food or coffee. Tuned up from the get go that the driver had other commitments, keep it snappy!! Went to a rice paper place, 15 minutes, not very interesting at all...then onto tunnels. Actually got to see very little of that whole complex, as we were reminded, time was tight, driver had Airport pick up arranged back to back with our booking....no worries old mate....still took the $200 AUD...all good. We saw groups having sit down lunch, we paid for private cpl tour, yet hardly had time to scratch ourselves. Came home knackered, hungry...saw bugger all.
Our first time in Vietnam and we wanted to dive into its history—this tour was the best decision we made. Chris was incredible: knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about his country, culture, and history. He turned learning into one of the highlights of our holiday. Our driver, Minh, was equally fantastic—patient, accommodating, and made sure we got everywhere safely and comfortably. If you want a tour that’s memorable, insightful, and full of heart, I couldn’t recommend Chris and Minh more highly. 100% worth it!
Chris was a brilliant guide and Minh got us around with ease. The tunnels were incredible to experience, making rice paper was a fun surprise, and we topped it off with the shooting range for a big adrenaline hit. Couldn’t have asked for a better day!
Absolutely fantastic experience with our guide Chris and driver Minh! From the moment we hopped in the van, Chris had us laughing and feeling completely at ease. His knowledge of Cu Chi was incredible, and he shared it in such an engaging, fun way that the whole group learnt of the history of the VC and the reasoning behind the tunnels. Another highlight was getting hands-on and making rice paper—it was such a unique, memorable touch! Chris truly made us feel like we were friends, not just guests. I honestly wish I could give this tour more than 5 stars—10 out of 10, highly recommend!
Henry made our first day in Vietnam one we will cherish forever. Friendly, fun and super knowledgeable. Thank you Henry for a great day!
We booked a trip to the Cu Chi tunnels at very short notice. Our guide Justin picked us up on time and friendly at the hotel. He spoke very good English and answered all questions in a reasonable length and depth. On the way to the Ben Duoc tunnels, we stopped at a rice paper factory, as we explicitly requested. There we were allowed to watch and try out how rice paper is made - a wonderful experience for young and old! In the tunnels Justin led us through the circuit and explained the system with calmness and patience. We had enough time to look at everything. Illustrative examples of traps could not be missed and left a very big impression on all of us. After a wonderful day we arrived safely back in HCMC.:)
This was such a fantastic tour. I would highly recommend. We were a group of 7 including 3 kids. The rice paper village was a fun interactive experience. We all loved attempting to make rice paper. The Cu chi tunnels were incredible. Most of us braved the underground experience. Our youngest (8 yr) was like an underground rat and couldn't get enough. Our tour guide made this trip extra special and fun for all.
Our family of 5 had a fantastic day exploring the Cu Chi tunnels with Jadon! We also went to the shooting range which was an awesome experience. Jadon took us to the quieter area of the tunnels which was great as there were less people! The tunnels were so interesting and most us scrambled through them! Lastly we stopped off at the Paper rice village, which was a lot of fun trying our hand at making rice paper! Jadon has a wealth of knowledge and he was such an interesting guy to spend the day with! We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends and others reading this review! Thanks so much Jadon plus your driver!
