We had a great introduction to Prague with Nikola M. She accommodated our last minute request to see Strahov library & monastery as well overseeing our general introduction to Prague. We covered the events of Operation Anthropoid including a visit to the crypt of the Saints Cyril and Methodius Cathedral & the memorial to the assassination. We also made our way across the iconic Charles Bridge and managed to watch the oldest legendary Astronomical Clock. We tried a selection of Czech baked goods as well as enjoying the famous chimney cake in the old town. Nikola took amazing photos on our tour from all the best vantages & viewpoints. Our driver Norbert was also excellent & engaging, getting us safely around Prague. We have a few more tours booked with the company which we are looking forward to on our trip.
Dear Gajaen, Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your introduction to Prague with Nikola and that she was able to accommodate your visit to Strahov Monastery and Library. It sounds like you had a fantastic day exploring the city, learning about its history, and experiencing some of its most iconic sights and local treats. We will be sure to share your kind words with both Nikola and Norbert. They will be so happy to know that they helped make your experience so memorable. We look forward to welcoming you on your upcoming tours and wish you a wonderful stay in Prague. :) Warm regards, Sila & The Prague City Adventures Team
My family (husband and two teen boys) have taken a lot of food tours over the years and this definitely ranks at the top. Nikola was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who grew up in the area. She took us to some unique places to taste gingerbread, drink beer and Czech spirits at a floating brewery, eat typical holiday foods at a buzzing-with-locals restaurant, and top it off with amazing dessert and coffee. Beyond the great food, we learned so much about Czech history including her own experience living through the fall of Communism, and she provided great tips for the rest of our trip so we never ate a bad meal! Bonus -- she took the best family photo of our whole trip with a gorgeous Prague skyline at sunset ;)
We're so glad you and your family had a fantastic experience on our Private Prague City Tour with Nikola! Her passion for sharing the culture and history of Prague truly shines through. It’s fantastic that you not only enjoyed the local delicacies but also gained a deeper understanding of Czech history during your time with her! We hope to welcome you back for more delicious adventures in the future! Selen & the Prague City Adventures Team

We had a great time on walking city tour of Prague with Mark. He had such an in-depth knowledge of the Czech history and we learned so much on our tour. He took us to a fantastic restaurant for lunch that we revisited for dinner. Mark was a ton of fun, extremely personable and was able to answer all our questions. We highly recommend this tour and Mark as a guide.

An unforgettable day in Prague with Jan We set Jan a tough brief: show us the best of Prague in a single day, cover the history properly, and keep it genuinely engaging for four kids aged 8–14. After seven weeks in Europe and dozens of excellent guides, Jan truly stands out as exceptional. Jan thoughtfully customised the tour to suit our family and made it fun, meaningful, and accessible for everyone. He is a natural storyteller with incredible energy and warmth — I suspect the most open and welcoming person in Czechia and one of the best guides in Europe . He checked in regularly, adjusted the pace as needed, and kept the kids engaged with questions, challenges, and little rewards when they connected the dots. It felt less like a formal tour and more like spending the day with a wise, kind family friend who happens to have a teaching background and knows everything about Prague. Jan showed remarkable patience and insight in responding to children’s questions, balanced depth with humour, and made sure no one was left behind. He was also generous with practical help — offering to take family photos, finding great viewpoints, tailoring the route as we went, and helping us plan the rest of our stay. His food recommendations (and what to order!) were spot on. One of the most meaningful parts of the day was Jan sharing his own family’s experiences growing up during Soviet times. He did this with sensitivity and honesty, and it deeply resonated with both us and our kids. Prague City Adventures were also excellent — communication was fast and clear, and they were incredibly understanding and flexible when a flight delay forced a last-minute date change. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for, and we couldn’t recommend Jan and Prague City Adventures more highly. A truly memorable day in a beautiful city.
Dear Jules, Thank you so much for your glowing review and for trusting us with your precious family time in Prague. We’re delighted to hear that Jan exceeded your expectations and created such a special experience for you and your children. It’s especially rewarding to know his ability to connect, share meaningful stories, and adapt the tour made your day so enjoyable. We're also pleased our team could make the booking process smooth even with last-minute changes. Your thoughtful feedback inspires us to continue providing exceptional experiences for all our guests. We’d be honoured to welcome you again next time you visit Prague. Kind regards, Selen & the Prague City Adventures Team
A very enjoyable day indeed with our welcoming and knowledgeable guide Mark. Our tour encompassed the sights of the old town, Jewish quarter, lesser town and Hrad and also included a tram ride and lovely lunch. He dealt with the cold, crowds and us in jovial fashion, always having an answer to our questions. From Wenceslas to the Hapsburgs to the fall of communism he certainly knew his stuff, terrific guide who I would certainly recommend.
Hello, We so appreciate you taking the time to leave such a wonderful review! We're glad you enjoyed discovering Prague’s old town, Jewish quarter, and more with Mark—and that even the cold and crowds couldn’t dim your day. Mark works hard to make the tours memorable and informative, and your feedback means a lot. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to show you more of Prague in the future. Best wishes, Selen & the Prague City Adventures Team
