Description

This tour was great! Covered alot of ground and learned a lot about Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula. We drove all over the place beating the crowds, while exploring for anmials, plants and the best photos. Scenery truely is unbeatable around Cape Town. Tania was awesome- punctual, knowledgeable, and alot of fun to spend the day with. I highly recommend this tour.
I greatly appreciate your 5 star review. Your kindness and enthusiasm made the day. Hope to see you back in Cape Town one day. Warm Regards Tania
Great way to experience the peninsula - its nature, people, and culture. It was a mixed day with rain and sun and some wind and we customized our tour to that. Exploring local towns and cafés before heading over to the cape. We got to see ostriches, bonteboks, and baboons in their natural habitats. And of course the boulder penguins … Great day ending with a sunset view over Camps Bay.
Thank you for your 5 star review. 😉 I loved having you both on tour. Warm Regards Tania
Tania was a brilliant guide!! Took us to all the best spots and was really accommodating. especially because our booking was last minute. Thanks so much Tania :) xx
Chloe & Matt, you're the best! It was such fun to have you on tour. Thank you for the great review.
My husband, 10 year old son and I spent a wonderful day exploring the Cape Peninsula with Tania. She tailored the trip to suit our interests and was so much fun to spend time with - I'd highly recommend this experience if you want to get a flavour of the area in a day, without the need to worry about driving and parking. She made sure we arrived to see the penguins before the majority of the crowds arrived, and suggested a less busy walk at the Cape of Good Hope with absolutely mind-blowing views. We really enjoyed hearing about South Africa from a local, and she even came up with quizzes for us to do in the car to keep my son entertained! Thanks so much Tania!
Thank you for such a stellar review. It made me feel so proud to be a tour guide. People like the three of you make my job so much easier and enjoyable. You are a very special family.
We had an amazing Cape Peninsula tour today with Tania and couldn’t recommend it more! Tania arrived right on time and immediately made us feel welcome. She was incredibly friendly with a wonderful sense of humour, which made the whole day really enjoyable. The journey was very comfortable and relaxed, and Tania shared fascinating facts about the area – it felt like she knew something interesting about every street we passed. What really made the day special was that she took us to some hidden spots we would never have found on our own. One of the highlights was seeing wild ostriches on a beautiful beach, and we were the only people there – such a magical moment. If you’re thinking about doing a Cape Peninsula tour, we would absolutely recommend going with Tania. A fantastic experience from start to finish!
My partner and I (a queer couple in our 30s) booked a private tour with Tania a few months ago and had an incredible experience. She picked us up at our hotel in De Waterkant and took us around all day, customizing the tour and flexing with our needs and interests as the day went on (instead of forcing us on a cookie cutter tour route). She took us by Muizenberg Beach to see the colorful bathing huts and then at Tania's suggestion we stopped in Kalk Bay. We'd been looking for some unique souvenirs and we found incredible spots with everything from handmade jackets made by local designers (Lake Side Provisions next to Kalk Bay Books) to a very cute used bookstore (Kalk Bay Books) to antiques. After spending more time than we expected there, we headed to Boulders Beach to see the penguin colony! It was packed, but Tania gave us tips on using our tickets to walk to another, much quieter beach. Then we headed to Cape Point. Tania showed us around a handful of beautiful and peaceful beaches to enjoy the stunning landscape and pointed out wildlife along the way (including baby ostriches). We had some lunch and hiked up to the Old Cape Point Lighthouse (about 30 minutes) and then drove to the Cape of Good Hope. Then we headed back to Cape Town, taking the gorgeous Chapman's Peak Drive. Through it all, Tania was kind, warm, and so incredibly knowledgeable, answering our many questions and teaching us so much about the landscape and South African history and culture. I would 10/10 recommend touring with her!!
It's hard to find the right words to thank you properly for this detailed review. You were both such kind people and I will not forget the day I spent with you. It warms my heart to know you enjoyed the experience. Hopefully we can stay in touch. I would love to show you more of what Cape Town and South Africa has to offer.
This tour was the best. The guide was really friendly and professional. She tried to take me to as many places as possible and explained the slightest thing in kind and detail.
It's such a good feeling to know you had a pleasant experience. I really appreciate the 5 star review and the time you took to write it.
From the initial communication with Tania, to the meet-up, and throughout the trip, the day was truly amazing! She was on time, had a new comfortable car, and a fun, friendly trainee with her to meet us at the hotel for our private tour. Over the next 8 hours, she provided a detailed and compelling tour as she shared the history of the city, interwoven with current info and interesting facts about the area and the country overall. Tania and her trainee had such a beautiful energy and genuine excitement about what they showed us whether it be the penguins (visited early to avoid the crowds), the peninsula and surrounding towns, or the Cape, always taking plenty of time for photos or just to gaze out at the stunning geography. If you want a truly memorable experience with an experienced, friendly, fun, thoughtful guide, you must book your private tour with Tania. You will leave inspired and with respect for this beautiful city and the country. Thank you, Tania and Solamanie for an incredible day which we will never forget!!
Dear Heidi & Dana, I really appreciate your detailed and positive review. Some people just make such and impact on your life. The day with you was truly special. Wishing you all the best for 2026 and hope to see you again one day.
While the stunning, natural landscape here will always be the star of the show, Tania did so much to give it all meaning and make our experience exceptional. A true local, she offered so much historical and factual information about everything we were seeing - and all with a genuinely friendly style. We could not have had a better experience. Knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and fun! Highly recommended.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your family was a pleasure to take on tour. That baboon sighting we had together will forever stay etched in my memory.
Tania is a kind and gracious guide who knows her town well and enjoys showing off the “best of” to her guests. No matter your interests, she will find the best options and work on your schedule. Knowing we wanted to see wildlife, she took us down the best paths to see everything from ostriches (with babies!) to baboons (with a baby!). It was a truly full and wonderful day!
Thank you for the 5 star review. It makes me happy that you enjoyed your experience. Cape Town and South Africa has so much to offer. Hope to see you back here some day.
