Very knowledgeable and the right amount of time given the heat wave! It was a must see excursion while in Paris!
Overcrowded, overrated, overplanted and poorly organised. What we hoped would be a highlight experience left us very disappointed indeed. I could not possibly recommend this costly day out to anyone.

We had a driver/guide to take us from Paris to Giverny. Although it rained, we had a wonderful time. We skipped the lines and toured the house, garden and grave. Loved it.
We started in the Japanese Gardens and ended in the main gardens. The floral beauty was breathtaking. The house itself was filled with traditional and Japanese paintings both of which he loved to paint. The rooms were attractively decorated. My favorite was the stove in the kitchen
Our guide was exceptional. On the way to Giverny he gave us a history of Monet’s life. We arrived at opening time and he guided us through the house before it got crowded. After that we were free to tour the gardens and pond. On the way back to Paris he pointed out places Monet had lived and painted. Finally he dropped us off in Paris at a very nice place for lunch. A great day.
Even if you don't know anything about (impressionist) painting but only like flowers and gardens, the visit to the Monet house and gardens is worthwhile. A great experience with lush flowers. You have to be able to deal with the tourist crowds a bit. It's natural after Mont St. Michel the second attraction of Normandy. We had already visited a few times high-summer but now in the spring the flower garden was a splendour. The water lilies were not yet blooming but only the American, Japanese and Chinese tourists were sorry. The ponds remain fantastic and of course Monet was also about just the reflection of the light and the movement of the water.
Lucille was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Highly recommend her as a guide. Provide much valuable insight.
Beating the line is well worth it if going on a weekend morning. My guide was top notch and very knowledgeable.
Wonderful tour with our expert guide Julien who was friendly, informative and flexible. We stopped at some scenic towns and had great photo opportunities. Georges who coordinated the visit was also a great communicator and made sure our itinerary matched our interests. Overall a great experience!
Great passion and knowledge of Monet and history of his life. On time, professional and engaging. Great guide!
