Nichée au cœur de l'Algarve, la ville pittoresque de Loulé dégage un charme qui capture l'essence de la campagne de l'Algarve. Nous visiterons le marché municipal de Loulé, l'un des meilleurs exemples du style néo-arabe. Les rues de la vieille ville de Loulé avec ses maisons traditionnelles et où vous verrez le maître du cuivre travailler sa cataplana traditionnelle et d'autres objets, les dames locales tissant le palmier nain. feuilles d'arbres, cousant et reliant chaque branche, produisant autant d'objets différents : sacs, nacelles, paniers et objets plus traditionnels ou innovants. - La rue commerçante traditionnelle pavée
L'architecture unique d'Olhão crée un panorama urbain particulier. L’une des caractéristiques les plus emblématiques d’Olhão est son réseau de maisons de style cubiste. Ces structures cubistes mettent en valeur l'esprit artistique de la ville et son approche unique de l'architecture. La première étape de notre visite est le marché municipal. Situé au bord de l'eau, ce bâtiment se démarque parmi les maisons blanches avec ses murs de briques rouges et ses dômes verts. Il y a deux sections : une avec des fruits et légumes et des produits secs locaux, et une autre uniquement dédiée aux poissons et fruits de mer, comme les palourdes, les moules et les huîtres. Nous marcherons jusqu'au centre-ville le long des rues traditionnelles où vous trouverez des bâtiments portugais traditionnels avec leurs tuiles traditionnelles et leurs balcons en fer et vous verrez également les maisons cubistes.

Bienvenue à Faro, la capitale de notre magnifique région de l'Algarve ! Notre visite vous emmènera dans un voyage captivant à travers cette ville enchanteresse, connue pour son histoire, ses paysages magnifiques et sa culture dynamique. Notre premier arrêt est au cœur de Faro, la vieille ville. Nous visiterons la cathédrale de Faro, une structure religieuse gothique qui offre un regard sur le passé et une vue panoramique sur la ville depuis le toit-terrasse du clocher. Comme Faro abrite également le magnifique parc naturel de Ria Formosa, une zone protégée avec divers écosystèmes, des marais salants et une abondance d'espèces d'oiseaux, du haut de la cathédrale, nous pouvons admirer cette belle vue. Notre visite nous mènera ensuite à Arco da Vila, l'une des anciennes entrées de la ville. Lors de notre visite à Faro, vous aurez l'occasion de traverser les rues commerçantes traditionnelles et de flâner dans les rues pavées.

What a fabulous day Johnny lined for us! We chose a private tour due to our limited time in the Algarve region. We rate tours based on 1) communication, 2) itinerary, 3) information, 4) organization and 5) pricing. The communication was great. We were notified and reminded of the pick up time. Johnny asked what we wanted to do and see. He interjected several stops that proved to be interesting, so our itinerary included a visit to local artisans, including a coppersmith and a basket weaver. We visited the local markets in Loulé and in Olhão. The churches and cathedrals we visited were breathtaking! And all that time Johnny was explaining the history of, the customs, the traditions of each place. The pricing was agreed upon up front. At the end of the day, we felt we certainly got our money’s worth. To have a tour guide put so much enthusiasm and pride in the Algarve and Portugal made this tour very special and meaningful. Johnny organized a 23 person all day tour that took us to Loule , Tavira , the Quinta da Tor winery and a few other stops. It was very good value for our money , a good time was had by all and Johnny and his cohort Nelson are both affable and knowledgeable guides. We also had used Johnny’s tours to arrange transport for the majority of our group from Lisbon to the Rocha Brava resort and a smaller group transport from The resort to Seville, Spain I would highly recommend this company for any trips you’re considering
