Quirky but good. Very good for capable and mature folks. Beats traveling with a huge bus full of other people. It was exactly as described. A bit of history with the archaeological site, cave is really cool, food is serviceable.
We really value your review and are happy to know you left with great memories. Hope to welcome you back soon!
My favorite part of our honeymoon. Our guide, Ro, and Driver, Davey, were the best! Very fun, outgoing and professional. The caves were so cool! A very unique experience!! It’s a must do! You would be lucky to get these two as your guides.
My husband and I loved every tour we did in Mexico and would do them all twice over. Shout-out to Gregorio and Ulysses for carting us around on this unforgettable day. Gregorio, our main guide, had to take a couple of stops on the way to the main archeological site, but he was adept at turning these quick breathers into bite-sized lessons about the area’s history. He was really knowledgeable and kind. I loved his lesson on the fertility temple, and the in-depth explanation about the cultural progression of the Mayan people leading up to their introduction to the Toltecs. Chichen-ha is a great area to visit natural cenotes, and Henry was a delightful cave guide. He was thoughtful enough to offer to carry my Tevas on his life jacket in case my arthritis flared and I couldn’t walk in the swim shoes. It ended up not being necessary, but his kindness was certainly appreciated. The cave is remarkably well-lit, and the park itself is beautiful. The food at the on-site restaurant, Lol-Ha was also so, so good!
Our day trip was the highlight of our time in the Yucatan Peninsula. Rodolfo and Jerry Garcia picked us up at our hotel at exactly 7am and we drove down to Tulum. The ride itself was quiet, as it was early in the morning, but Jerry came alive when we got to Tulum. He has forty years of experience taking people on tours throughout Mexico and he was so knowledgeable and engaging. We learned so much about the Maya people, and saw amazing ruins at the site. Jerry was patient as we got something to drink and used the bathroom before heading to the Pet Cemetary cenote. Jerry knows everyone and he made sure the group waited for us to get changed at the cenote. Our lunch at a little restaurant in Akumal was fantastic, and Jerry was happy to let us walk around and take photos after lunch. Afterwards Rodolfo drove us back to the hotel. All told we were gone for about 8-9 hours and had such a delightful time.
This was a three stop tour. We went to Tulum, Cenote Sueno, the we snorkeled. After the three stops we stopped for lunch. Our guide, Damian was just the greatest, he is just a great human being, fun to be around and he took excellent care of all of us. Damian was well versed in the history of this part of Mexico and took time for detailed explanations that were informative and funny. This tour was the best part of our Cancun adventure!
Tulum and the Cenote were great and the guide Ricardo was fabulous. But when we got back several people noticed money missing from our wallets that we left on the private transportation with the driver, about 60 per person.
Good morning Tamie, We have not been able to find a reservation under your name in January, could you provide us the following information: - ID voucher number - Leader name of the reservation - Number of passengers We have never had a problem like this with missing money, and this worries us very much, we have no report at all about it, did you mention this to our reservation area or anyone in your tour? We will love to have more information about your tour, because if it was a tour of the company, we will look very deep into it and correct it, as well as making it up to you. Look forward to you information
We had an amazing time on this full day tour. The driver Omar and the guide for the day Gregorio were punctual, pleasant and informative. The drive to Tulum took about 90 minutes (from the Marriott Resort) and Gregoria gave us a history lesson along the way. We got to Tulum around 8:30 and through the entrance by 9. Definitely glad we went early because it was crazy busy by the time we left at 11! Tulum itself was beautiful and interesting and Gregario did spend time with us explaining the history and architecture before letting us roam around ourselves. We left Tulum and headed half an hour back north to Kantun Chi. This is we’re things really got amazing. Gregario and Omar checked us in and handed us off the the staff there. We were a little confused as to the process but it was soooo incredible and worth it. We were assigned Henry as our guide and we’re so lucky to have him. He was awesome with everyone including the kids and less athletic folks. The package we had included diving through the underground cenotes, swimming in above ground cenotes and lunch. I did not expect to be able actually swim through the underground cenotes in the cave system ! But the kids were thrilled and it was so fascinating. Henry did a great job of keeping everyone safe while providing history and geography lessons! They do supply shoes, life jackets, helmets and googles. (If your kiddo wear’s prescription glasses you may want to bring prescription googles or ones that seal over their glasses) After coming out of the caves we walked to an amazing private above ground cenotes where we jumped in, swam, snorkeled and kayaked. Amazing pictures! Also definitely bring a fry bag if you want to bring your phone for pictures- there’s no way to keep it dry in the caves). After swimming we walked back towards the main facility and looked at wildlife and other public cenotes. Henry was a great tour guide. We got back and changed and then Henry walked us to the restaurant and we had what may have been the best food of our trip! We had really just expected some snacks but the fish tacos, fish filet and pork filet were amazing, perfectly prepared. There was also pineapple water, chicken appetizers and banana ice cream. The kids had cheese quesadillas and fries which they inhaled. Service was fun and relaxing. Around 4:30 Omar and Gregorio picked us up for the return trip. All I. All this was the best adventure we have ever done in Cancun. Absolutely recommend it, especially kantun chi!
We had great experience with our driver Alfanso and then our tour guide at Cave adventure named soul. Cave adventure and Cenote were top of the world
Let’s start with Alberto our guide he was great from start to finish. Educated us about the Mayan culture and ruins in a way that wasn’t boring. He made both my husband and I feel very safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. Our driver Carlos was funny, respectful and super chill. He drove safely and got us to where we needed to be in a timely manner. At the cenotes our guide was Angel and he truly was just that- an angel- also educating us on Mayan culture. Had fun seeing all the cenotes and doing a cave tour as well 10/10 Recommend. Now onto the food… it was magnificent, truly! Also a 10/10! Highly recommend this private tour. Thank you all for making this trip even more memorable!
My husband and I chose the excursion with the Tulum ruins, cenote (cave) swim and snorkeling in the lagoon. Chang was our tour guide and Fernando our driver. Chang made the experience so awesome!! He was very knowledgeable with the Mayan history and had such a pleasant personality, interacting with all of us, the whole tour was fun and exciting. The ruins were beautiful and swimming in the cenote was incredible! It was our first time snorkling, and Chang was so patient with us and took his time to teach us. If Chang is leading any other tours, we would definitely love to book with him! Cancun Adventures is a great company to use!!
